The 81 st Silver Award Presentation The 81 st Silver Award Presentation was successfully held on Thursday, 26 October 2005 at Queen’s College. We were honoured to have Mrs. Carrie LAM, JP, Permanent Secretary for Home Affairs as the Guest of Honour to present the Silver Award Certificates. There were altogether 476 Silver Award recipients coming from 12 different Operating Authorities. At the Ceremony, Mrs. LAM encouraged Hong Kong youngsters to develop a greater variety of interest , utilize their own potentials and take up challenges. Our Guest of Honour also invited more youth agencies and volunteers to join hands to promote the Award Scheme to young people, thus helping our younger generation to grow up in a positive and healthy way. Apart from 476 Silver Awardees, we also have 49 recipients for the Certificates of Appreciation (7 years' service) to 41 recipients for the Certificates of Appreciation (3 years' service). The Award Scheme would like to thank Mrs. Carrie LAM, JP, Permanent Secretary for Home Affairs for being the Guest of Honour and Pui Ching Middle School for offering the venue and all necessary facilities for this Presentation. The 81st Silver Award Presentation was successfully held on Thursday, 26 October 2005 at Queen’s
