Sound• Azden classrooms can listen to sound from

the computer without turning on the projector.

• Room Pro can not. But there is a way to

listen to the computer ONLY without using

your projector and shortening the life of your

bulb.

Blank Screen

•Do NOT use the "blank" screen for

extended periods of time. It heats up

the projector and shortens the bulb

life!

Mic 1 should be the teachers main

microphone.

Bulb Life

•The newer Epson 92V bulb life is

about:

•5000 hours

•The older (2 years ago) Epson 83V

have a bulb life of:

•2000 hours

•Each bulb costs about $300.

•Each school is allocated a certain

number of bulbs from the tech

department.

Filter Cleaning

• Clean filters monthly

o if filter is covered with dust then clean every 2

weeks.

o if filter is rather clear then clean every 6 to 8 weeks.

• Each school needs a Plan for cleaning

filters.

o rotate between teachers who are comfortable using

a step ladder

o buddy system

• Clean Filters = Long lasting bulbs!!!

•Plug mics in nightly.

Mic Batteries

•TN Battery will replace your

rechargeable batteries for the Azden

mics with a purchase order.

•You must bring your mics to the

store for replacement.

•Mics will NOT be replaced
