FACILITIES

The school has determined to provide and maintain the requisite infrastructure of facilities for

achieving planned arrangements like-

1. Adequate building, workspace needed for service delivery

2. Provision of science laboratories, computer laboratory, digital classes, library,

conference room, music & dance room.

3. Support services such as playgrounds, play park, open gym and drinking water facility

4. Associated utilities and services like health centre,communication and information

systems.

Since the School is established within the vicinity of plant, entire infrastructure is provided by the

parent industry, Ultratech Rawan Cement Works and the respective departments of Rawan Cement

Works ensure their maintenance. The infrastructural requirement is periodically reviewed in school

managing committee meeting to ascertain their adequacy. At the beginning of the financial year a

budget is prepared by the Principal and got sanctioned from the Top Management, and all

infrastructural requirements (new and periodic maintenance) are fulfilled as per the planned

budget.

Music and Dance Room

Students are provided an opportunity to learn music and dance under the supervision and guidance

of well trained teachers. There is a separate dance and music room for the students to enhance

their skill.

Play Park In context to holistic development of students a play park and open Gym has been set up for providing good exercise and keeping the students fit and healthy.

CLASS ROOMS

The school has two sections, each in Classes LKG to XII. Each room is airy, spacious, well-lit and

well-ventilated.

Smart Boards The school is equipped with a high tech computer department, having computers network

throughout the school. Smart board classes are in corporated in the school syllabus. This helps in

making lessons interesting and holding child’s attention.

SCHOOL LIBRARY

Library is the reservoir of knowledge.

A school library integrated to the school curriculum is essential to effectively educate

student to succeed in our information-based society. The school library is designed to support the

educational goals. It includes a large and diverse printed and not printed materials. Access to

technology resources is available through the Internet. Reference books, magazines, periodicals

are also available in the library.

It has more than 6000 books, more than 100 CDs on various subjects.

COMPUTER EDUCATION

The school has established two computer laboratories, one for the students and one for the staff

with the machines of latest configuration. The emphasis has been laid to provide one system to

one child at a time for computer education. The education is imparted through multimedia and

Internet. Four periods per week of Computer Education have been provided for the classes from II

to X. LKG to I get one multimedia period in a week.

GAMES & SPORTS

The school has its own sports field for outdoor Games/Sports activities. Indoor activities are held

in the multipurpose hall. The school organizes coaching camps for different games and sports

during summer vacation. Inter house competitions of Cricket, Football, Athletics, Carom,

Badminton, Chess, Table Tennis and Annual Sports Meet are held every year. Organized evening

games are the special feature of Games / Sports activities in the school.

CULTURAL & LITERARY

The development of no student is complete without Sports and Cultural Activities, Daily Assembly,

Inter House Contests, Display Board Activities, Inter School Activities, Annual Functions & Annual

Day nurture & develop hidden talents amongst children. Children participate in various

competitions and contests organized by neighborhood schools as well as distant places. The major

participation has been in the Inter School Declamation/Debate/Arts/Science Quiz. Inter house

activities and assemblies further provide a stage for mass participation as well as developing talents

and skills of students.
