American Heart Association The ECC is regarded as the scientific authority on all

matters of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and other aspects of situational cardiovascular care.

Advanced scientific research and globally available CPR training courses represent the core of ECC outreach activities. This research has yielded trusted, official CPR guidelines followed by first responders, health care leaders, safety employees, and knowledgeable members of the general public. This information can be found at the Heart Association website or in manuals and other materials published by the organization.
