    education

The applicaion of Agen echnology plays a veryimportan role for web-based disace educaion sysem inhe following aspecs:

I helps o creae collaboraive online eachingenvironmen, unies he educaional resources underhe disribued nework environmen om around.

I rther improves he ineracion of e sysem, realizes web-based inelligen uoring.

I creaes a muli-Agen inelligen sysem whichprovides dieren inerfaces o differen users.

III. DSTANCE LEANNG MODEL BASED ON MULTGENTAND TS FUNCTONS

I order o overcome he limiaions and shortcomings ofdisance leaing a his sage, we build e inelligendisance leaing environmen wih soware Agenechnolo, enhance he sysem's ineraciviy, achieve smartcounseling online, hus reach e objecive of sense-makingof leers.

    A. Agent applied as teacher's role

Lesson-preparing Agen helps eachers complee heirdaily lesson preparaion. no only provides eachers aplaform ha ca u eaching conen ino web pages andpublish coursewae o eaching websie convenienly, moreimportanly, i uses Agen's menal and social ncion oadvance eaching advices for he eachers inelligenly.

Lesson-preparing Agen ca consul he eaching serversubsysem's knowledge-updaing Agen o ensure if oher

eacher has already published same eaching conen, husavoiding he duplicaion of eaching conen. I addiion, heAgen also inerac informaion wih suden subsysem's

suden Agen o undersand he eaching organizaional form, eaching media and so on which sudens ineres in, husadjus he way of preparing lessons.

Teaching Agen mainly deals wih real-ime eaching andQ&A, i emphasizes eaching in disance educaion sysemdue o he geographic disribuion of eacher and sudens. Inaddiion o simulaing face-o-face real-ime eaching, Agenca also exchange informaion wih suden records Agenand suden Agen o undersand leaers' leing siuaionand dieren quesions hus selec eaching objecsdynamically and argeed.

    B Function of student Agent

Suden Agen is mainly responsible for he ineracionbeween sudens and he sysem o guide suden leaing, and chooses eaching websie dynamically in accordancewih he sudens' acual siuaion in e leaing process. Ica also keep in ouch wih eaching websie dynamically incase when suden's o-line, downloads conen whichleaer ineres in dynamically when eaching conen isupdaed. can also exchange informaion wih collaboraiveAgen o le i selec ineracive objecs accordingly, forexample, choosing leaing partners of same level.Collaboraive Agen nishes discussion, consulaions, groupleaing and so on which is required in he eaching process,i can also exchange informaion wih oher sudens'collaboraive Agen and eacher module's lesson-prepaingAgen, manage objecs which leaers choose o inerac wihinelligenly, hus avoiding an online exchange blindness.

    C Teaching server Agent

Suden records Agen is used o record e deailedleaing process of leaers who log on o he eaching server,i reasons dynamically according o he leaing records, organizes hypertex srucure eaching pages dynamically inhe eaching informaion base.

Teaching conen Agen complees he updae of eachinginformaion base. obains updaing requiremen of eachingconen, hen consuls wih eacher sysem's lesson-preparingAgen, in he end, nishes he updaing. Anoher importanncion of eaching conen Agen is o co-work wih ohereaching websies, i need no repea conen which someoher websie has, when he conen is needed, i collaboraewih ha websie o complee he eaching. For now, nowebsie has his ncion ha could avoid duplicaion ofresources developmen.

    D. Manager Agent

The basic ncion of manager Agen is o coordinae alloher Agens om he whole eaching siuaion. I collecssae informaion of each Agen regularly o ensure henormal operaion of each Agen. I addiion o reduce racbeween Agens, he requiremen of sae informaion usemehods of boh self-reporting ad inqui which means hasae informaion is reported o manager Agen immediaelyonce each Agen is generaed ad when he sae has changed, manager Agen asks each Agen's sae informaion regularly.By he way, ac beeen maager Agen and oher Agensis reduced and robusness is increased. Manager Agen is

created by system in the process of initialization of system, and exists during the entire operation. Login Agent is createdaer manager Agent is created. Personali aalysis Agent,

intelligent navigation Agent ad student Agent ae createdfor legal users once login. For users who are teachers, onlyteacher Agent is created. When the number of users increases, several sub-Agents are created in order to speed upprocessing, eve manager sub-Agent is responsible for asub-part of users, it nctions the same like manager Agent.Manager sub-Agents repor state information of Agents tomanager Agent regularly.

The above is a simple introduction of several modules ofthis amework, it can be seen that each module is a group ofAgents, they cooperate with each other to complete distaceleaing tasks which lly embodies the teaching theo ofleaer-centered. The basic teaching sate in teachingprocess is made in accordance of module data ad

knowledge pe of students to create a online leaingenvironment which truly meets the need of leaners.Dynamic teaching strategy adjustment is made bymonitoring the human-computer interaction in the realleaing process to achieve adaptive leing ad intelligentteaching.

    I. ADVANTAGES OF GENT ONLNE LEANNG

To enable students who ae distributed in dierent placesdo individual leaing and collaborative leaing throughshing environment, there are real-time interactions btweenstudent and student, student and teacher, teacher ad teacher.Eve Agent which is component of system is a entitywhich individually completes one task or a series of tasks.

Eve student ad eve teacher does real-time or non realtime teaching activities through agents of correspondingstudent Agent and teacher Agent in local space or shaedspace.

    A. Improving neork resource utilization

Though it is rich of network resource, the way ofexistence of resource is haphazad, they can only be regadedas a kind of data, while what students need is a kind ofknowledge, it is had for students to take advantage ofnetwork resource efciently. In Agent-based networkteaching system, resource Agent will nish this processinitiatively for the students, network knowledge d data willbe knowledge which students need.

B Improving the richness of contentComputer network has a strong information processing

nction which appears with text, sound, graphics, video, aimation and oter multimedia forms, including productionstorage, automated management and remote transmission.Multimedia information performance and processingtechnique are used in web-based courses and all aspects ofleaing, thus, network teaching has had the prominentfeatures of high information context, fast update of data,multi-direction presentation and vivid simulation, and theseare not compared by the traditional teaching which is spacelimited and time-limited.

    C Improving human intection

Agent-based web course will enable students feel acomplete dierent leaing atmosphere in the leing

process, the computer listens to students' reect at any time, and make adjustments and improvements timely.

    D. Improving intelligence

Student Agent can give appropriate guidce forstudents' leaing content and directing in accordance totheir actual situation on te time. It's ve meaningl for theimproving of students' interest and teaching eect.

Student Agent continually exercises in the teachingprocess, that is, student Agent corrects itself according to theactual situation in leing process, thus it can reects thestudents' actual situation more accurately.

    E. Enhancing maintainabili and scalabili

Agents in system are entities that are both independentand interrelated, which is easy to maintain and expand, thusthe maintainabili ad scalabili of the whole system areenhanced.

    . ONCLUSONS

The cultivation of talents faces new challenges ininformation socie due to the rapid development of networkand computer technology. It has an immeasurable role inpersonnel training to develop distance leaing. The key todevelop distance leaing is not physically expandingnetwork rage, but improving performance of the existingdistce leaing system. The application of multi-Agenttechnology in distance leaing system will overcome the

deciencies of traditional network leaing, which willpresent an unprecedented situation in the network leaing, the intelligence level of network leing will also make newimprovement.
