The Jewish Argument-It’s the land God promised them.

-Their Ancient Kingdom of Israel

was located there.

-Jerusalem was their ancient

capital, The Western Wall is there.

-They lived there until they were

kicked out by the Romans.

The Palestinian Argument

-They make up the majority of the

people who live there.

-They have lived there for many

years without many Jews living

there.

Who disagreed & why?

The Arabs- They feel the

plan is unfair to the

Palestinians.

creation of the Jewish

State of Israel.

Results-The Arabs attack Israel on the next day, but Israel will win this war.

-Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians are forced to relocate to other areas and live in refugee camps.

-Palestinian Liberation Organization

-Goals: To create a Palestinian state

and destroy Israel.

-They will use “Terrorism” as a
