OVERVIEW OF THE PROBLEM• In August, over 70 persons from the Igbo speaking community were deported and dump
from lagos to Onisha, Anambra State, South East, Nigeria. The Lagos State government alleged that these set of people were relocated to Onisha because they were destitute, mentally unstable, constituting nuisance and security threat and the action was aimed at helping them reunite with their families in the South Eastern part of Nigeria.
• The incidence has cause lots of uproar among the two ethnic groups in Nigeria as the lgbo saw the act as an assault on them. Though, the governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babatunde Fashola later apologize without retracting his decision

ISSUES ARISING Although the two ethnic group have age long history of quest for power and competition, the recent deportation; Create an atmosphere of distrust and suspicious for the two ethnic groups . Senseless act born out of hate and jealousy that seems to exist among the groups. It increases the reign of bigotry, intolerance and hatred for the poor and vulnerable
WHAT IS THE PROJECT AND IT OBJECTIVE
• 1) Build a culture of peace, love and tolerance among the Yoruba’s and the Ibos speaking groups in Nigeria.
• 2) I want bring the two groups into a new place of engagement where the reason for the rivalry and how best we can live together as one Nigeria.
WHO: THE AUDIENCE
• The form: Dance Drama• Content : Promoting the cullture of peace.• Providing a platform for each groups to
discuss and finds way of living together as one family.• Motivation; constitutional provision for freedom of
association.• Lesson to learn: building a long standing healthy
relationships among the two groups.
WHOM
• Make up of audience: rural communities in Isale Eko, Ikorodun and Agege
• The motivation; free meal, free pass, souvenir, tee-shirts.• The stake: our society must be one because if we decide
otherwise, we will be breeding another civil war.• Special needs and context: provision of for the physically
challenged and souvenir will be incorporate bot Yoruba and Ibo speaking community.
