Summary

In “The oddishun ”, Jeen lends Aldo her cello during the oddishun for their school music show when his string

breaks on his cello. Jeen puts aside her feelings because she wants to do what is right for the show.

Setting: At their school, oddishun for their music show

Problem: Jean and Aldo both play the chello and only one can be in the show.

Solution: When Aldo’s string breaks on his chello, Jean lends him her chello because he is the better chelist for their show.

Jeen is waiting for the oddishun to begin for their music show at school.

Miss Small, the music teacher, called Aldo to be the first student to oddishun for the show.

Jeen became worried when Aldo came in with his chello. They both play chello and there is only room for one.

Aldo did not have a spare string. Jeen was happy at first but then wondered who would be the better chelist for

the show.

During his oddishun , Aldo’s string breaks on his chello while he is playing.

Jeen thinks of the show and lends Aldo her chello so he can complete his oddishun .
