This event is also a chance to bring all those with an interest in cars of any age and type together for the total motoring fellowship experience! At the end of Saturdays motoring in Arrowtown we stay the night and really relax. This is a special time away, the fun of this weekend is to arrive at the start and have an adventure! The Rules are very simple...

1. Any vehicle of any age is welcome.

2. the vehicle must be registered and warranted to meet all NZ

Transport Agency laws while on the event.

3. the vehicle is of a very good mechanical standard.

4. can travel at a constant speed of at least 90kmph.

ENTRY FEE COVERS… For this fun two-day outing, a "One Off" entry fee of $NZ228.00 per vehicle (first 2

persons) and extra crew members @ $120.00 per head. This will cover you for

organised catering (Saturday’s morning tea, lunch and Sundays farewell luncheon), any

other organisational costs (i.e. Set up, Information, Name Tags & Regalia etc).

Late Entries: If a late entry received after the close off date (February 28, 2017) a late

fee of $50.00 is additional.

YOUR ACCOMMODATION… The accommodation and your vehicle running costs are your care. Some are staying two nights (Saturday &

Sunday). There is a range of places to stay in the greater Arrowtown area. It’s always a busy time in

Arrowtown! The accommodation in and around may be limited so your accommodation may be in or nearer

Queenstown. Suggest you refer the AA accommodation Book or go online to the likes of

www.arrowtown.com/accommodation or www.whatif.com . Be sure to book early!

Participation Notes, Safety Information & Rules...

The “Autumn Colours Outing 2017” (known below as the “event”) Entry Rules:

1. You are responsible for everything: You (not the organisers) are responsible for every cost and loss you may have in respect

of the event. This includes:

(a) all accommodation, some food, drink, etc that you or your team/crew may require or consume;

(b) every cost of operating and maintaining your vehicle;

(c) every risk to any of your property (including your vehicle) and the property of anyone in your team/crew or anyone else;

and

(d) any damage or loss you or any of your team/crew cause or contribute to.

2. Vehicle, Driver, Crew and Safety:

During the event while operating a vehicle - every driver must:

(a) have a current NZ driver’s licence, or an international driver’s licence recognised by NZ authorities and understand all the

Land Transport safety Authorities requirements if driving;

(b) comply with and observe:

(i) every NZ Land Transport Authority law (including the Transport Act 1962 and Land Transport Act 1993, and applicable

regulations and amendments), particularly when operating any vehicle – the vehicle is up to a safe level to operate; and

(ii) every reasonable request and instruction of the organiser’s representatives; and

(c) not operate or use any vehicle in a way that may endanger life or property and operate in an unsafe manner, or may bring

the event or any of its sponsors into disrepute. We are on public roads so SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT.

2. Rights reserved by organisers: The organisers reserve the right to:

(a) exclude any vehicle or any person from the event for any reason at any time;

(b) change any date or time;

(c) change any venue; and/or

(d) cancel the event.

3. No liability of the organisers: None of the organisers or any of its representatives or sponsors will have any direct or

indirect liability (in contract or tort, including negligence) to you, any of your team/crew or anyone else for anything that

happens to your vehicle, you, any of your team/crew or anyone else or to any property during the event, or as a result of

any change of venues, dates, times or cancellation of the event or otherwise.

4. Cancellations or withdrawals: NZ$150 of the $228.00 entry fee per vehicle (first 2 persons) is non-refundable. But a refund

of some of the entry fee will be returned if cancellations are made to the organisers in writing on or before March 4, 2017.

After this date no refunds can be made (as commitments have been made).

5. Privacy: You authorise the organisers to:

a) collect and use any information about your vehicle and you for the purposes of the event and any related promotional

events; and

(b) retain information about your vehicle and you for future events and promotions.

6. Other: Communication from the organisers to entrants most part will be done online by email.
