Mitchell’s Musings: Lord you provide examples and instructions from most of life’s experiences. It seems, as individuals and a nation, we have a difficult time remembering our history. Thank you for your written word that helps us remember what we were before we heard you calling to us, what we are since repenting of our sins and accepting you as our Lord and Savoir; what you want us to be and how far we have to go to get there. Father, I ask your Spirit to fill our hearts with such a deep desire to read, hear and internalize your Word that this desire will overshadow every other insignificant priority we may have. UPDATES: “LAND IS PAID FOR, PRAISE THE LORD” Annual meeting will be Saturday October 19 starting at 5:00pm. This year we are celebrating a note burning. The annual meeting will be a picnic on the “Ministry Village” property. Truett Association will provide hot dogs, drinks, paper products. We ask that you bring the side dishes; beans, Cole slaw, favorite salads, disserts and disserts. Program details will be completed prior to that day and sent to you by email. Besides THE NOTE BURNING there will be one order of business. We will vote on changing from quarterly meetings to semian- nual meetings, one in April and one in October. Area Crusade : On May 1, 2014, “National Day of Prayer” we are hosting “The Main Event” with Dr Johnny Hunt, pastor of First Baptist Church Woodstock GA and the gospel singing group The Nelons.
