Norwegian ElkhoundNational dog of Norway, and brought to America by my great, great, great grandfather Crogan Barefoot.He and his wife Lula made a living for themselves by breeding and selling these dogs to hunters and farmers.

FarmingMy family also practiced farming in the 1800s, shortly after coming to America.

OilMy great grandfather moved to South Carolina and started an oil company that my grandfather later took over and delivered oil to people with oil furnaces in the 1950s.

Superior Rug CleanersAfter my grandfather developed Rheumatoid Arthritis he had to sell the oil company.After some recovery he started a carpet cleaning company called Superior Rug Cleaners.
