Located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, The Baseball Center’s 15,000 square foot training facility serves as the perfect home base for our expansive selection of programs, camps, clinics and leagues.

Staffed with an elite roster of professional coaches, the goal of every Baseball Center instructor is not only to develop our ballplayers into advanced students of the game but also help them grow as individuals, teammates and leaders.

PitchingDesigned to develop a pitcher’s mechanics, players participate in live bullpen sessions while learning proper arm action, release point, balance and weight distribution.

Whether the focus is hitting, pitching or position specific, private lessons are essential to boost a player’s development. At The Baseball Center, the fundamentals are introduced, taught, reinforced, and repeated each and every lesson.

The Winter Clinic Series is constructed to improve fundamental skills, knowledge of the game, work ethic, and overall athletic ability in the areas of Pitching, Catching and/or Hitting.

CatchingFocused on developing an understanding of the proper mechanics pertaining to footwork, stance, receiving, hand & transfer speed, blocking, pitch calling and mental toughness.

HittingThe Baseball Center NYC’s hitting system focuses on increasing hand & bat speed, generating power, proper load, pitch recognition and the men-tal aspects of hitting.

Junior SluggerThe Junior Slugger Program teaches players ages 2-4 years old the most basic fundamentals of baseball by focusing on the development of important skills such as concentration, flexibility and hand-eye-coordination.

Our professional coaching staff ensures each young ballplayer improves their individual self-confidence while being introduced to the concept of teamwork and sportsmanship.

Parents and Care Givers are welcome to participate in class.

After SchoolThe After-School Program is the perfect one-hour group lesson for ballplayers ages 4–12 years old. Each child will learn the game of baseball, including the proper mechanics and techniques of catching, throwing and hitting in an upbeat and fun environment.

The After-School Curriculum is guaranteed to increase the skill set of a child stepping on to the field for the first time up to the all-star ballplayer.

Winterball The Winterball Program features an instructive indoor baseball season designed to teach key fundamentals and teamwork with each class concluding with an in-cage baseball game.

Winterball is a perfect winter class for the beginning or intermediate ballplayer, ages 4 through 7.

Rookie BallFall and Spring Leagues coached by our professional staff, Rookie Ball @ The Baseball Center is a great introduction to team baseball for any child ages 4-7, regardless of experience or skill set.

Each child learns the basic fundamentals and rules of the games with an emphasis on teamwork and sportsmanship.

MinorsThe Minors Division of the NYC Stars Outdoor League is the first step in The Baseball Center’s competitive baseball curriculum.

Fall and Spring Leagues are led by our professional coaching staff and commissioned by The Baseball Center management team. The league features an introduction to kid pitch (accompanied by Coach Pitch) and position specific player assignments.

Sunday regular season games, playoffs and championship. Indoor and outdoor practices included.

MajorsThe Majors Division of the NYC Stars Outdoor League is The Baseball Center’s advanced recreational baseball league.

Fall and Spring Leagues are led by our professional coaching staff and commissioned by The Baseball Center management team.

The league features Sunday regular season games, playoffs, championship, indoor and outdoor practices.

Exclusive kid pitched games, position specific assignments and training programs included.

NYC Stars Travel ProgramThe NYC Stars Travel Program @ The Baseball Center is the highest level of Baseball Instruction and Competition offered in New York City.

Featuring fall & spring league games, winter prep sessions, summer training camp and tournament play at the Ripken Baseball, Diamond Nation and Baseball Heaven facilities, the NYC Stars Travel Program consists of teams ranging from 8U-13U, all managed by an elite coaching staff.

The mission of the NYC Stars Travel Program is to recruit young ballplayers who are committed to achieving both individual and team goals by utilizing the time necessary to enhance skill sets as well as learn advanced fundamentals and strategy.

Diamond CampsWhen school is closed, The Baseball Center Diamond Camp is the perfect way for players ages 4–12 to spend the day off.

Warm up drills, position specific instruction followed by an in-cage game fills a perfect day off from reading, writing and arithmetic.
