Ohio 43212, (Voice: 614-297-1200, Facsimile: 614-297-1300) (the “printer”) in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders upon depositing the sum of $250.00 for each set of documents. No partial sets will be issued by deposit. Deposits are to be payable to Port Clinton City School District and shall be sent or delivered to the printer. Any bidder, upon returning the documents in good condition within ten days following the public opening of the bids, shall be returned the deposit in full.
Each bidder shall be limited to no more than three complete sets of Procurement Documents under the refundable deposit provisions. Bidders may request additional sets or individual drawing sheets or Sections of the Specifications at cost (nonrefundable) as listed in the Instructions to Bidders.
Bid security in the form of certified check, cashier’s check, or letter of credit pursuant to the Ohio Revised Code in the amount of ten percent of the total bid shall accompany each bid; or a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Chapter 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code in the amount of 100 percent of the total bid shall accompany each bid.
Each successful bidder is required to furnish a Contract Bond in accordance with the Ohio Revised Code in the amount of 100 percent of the full contract sum, if not provided as part of the bid security.
Prevailing Wages are not applicable to this project in accordance with Senate Bill 102 and Section 4115.04 of the Ohio Revised Code.A Pre-Bid Conference will be held on February 7, 2011, at 1 PM, local time, in the Port Clinton High School Performing Arts Center
(PAC), 821 Jefferson Street, Port Clinton, Ohio 43452. Attendance by bidders is optional, but recommended, in order to provide additional basic project information.
The Owner reserves the right to reject each and every bid, and to waive informalities, irregularities, and errors in the bidding to the extent permitted by law. This includes the right to extend the date and time for receipt of bids.
