WELCOME
I would like to welcome you to The Beauty Room, my home based treatment salon. With 7 years experience in the beauty industry, working in high end hotels and spas, I am now looking to bring my experience home. I believe in offering a professional, high standard of treatment at all times and aim to deliver this in a relaxed and homely atmosphere.
I trained at The Yorkshire College of Beauty Therapy, where I graduated as CIDESCO Student of the Year. The CIDESCO Diploma is the world’s most prestigious qualification in the field of Aesthetics and Beauty Therapy. Both experience and ongoing training are essential requirements for a Beauty Therapist. If there is a treatment you would like me to offer, just let me know, as I would be happy to expand my treatment menu if the demand for a particular treatment is there.
The Beauty Room currently offers a range of Health and Beauty treatments, using only professional product ranges, including Australian Bodycare, CND (Creative Nail Design) and their latest phenomenon that is Shellac polish.
There is nothing more rewarding than carrying out a professional job and putting a smile on someone’s face....and that is why I love my job!

MASSAGE TREATMENTS
Every client is individual when it comes to massage. At The Beauty Room, massage pressure and technique are customised to suit your needs at that time.
If relaxation and alleviating stress is priority, then traditional Swedish massage techniques are used to melt away tension. For those that suffer from muscular tension or prefer a deeper pressure, Swedish massage combined with Deep Tissue massage movements are chosen to break down lactic acid build up, erase stress, and relax muscles.
Whatever your preference, a massage treatment at The Beauty Room is designed to leave your mind and body in a most relaxed state, promoting an overall sense of wellbeing.

WAXING TREATMENTS
With years of experience in both Warm and Hot wax techniques, you can feel confident that you are in good hands at The Beauty Room.
Using salon professional Australian Bodycare’s Tea Tree products, with natural active ingredients that soothe and condition the skin hygienically, both wax and pre and post wax treatment products are suitable for even the most sensitive skin and for those intimate areas.
At The Beauty Room, hygiene is of upmost importance. The new Australian Bodycare Hy-Wax Hot wax System is used to prevent cross infection between clients. Each client has their own wax heated in a disposable foil insert. At the end of the treatment the spatula and foil insert are disposed of, thus eliminating the risk of cross infection.
Hot wax is highly recommended for removal of facial hair (especially eyebrows and lip) and for intimate bikini line waxing such as Brazilian and Hollywood.

HAND AND FOOT TREATMENTS
The Beauty Room uses one of the leading brands, CND (Creative Nail Design), for all manicure and pedicure treatments.
Nothing says ‘perfectly groomed’ better than beautiful skin, meticulous cuticles and healthy nails. So why not choose a Spa Manicure or Spa pedicure that goes beyond trimming and polishing, to provide deep moisturising, gradual exfoliation and the most refined attention to detail.
To complete your nail treatment, choose one of the latest CND Colour and Effect polishes. By layering Effects over Colour you can completely change your look to create shimmer, pearl or sparkle.
CND award-winning base coats, top coats, Colour and Effect polishes are all “3-free” containing no formaldehyde, toluene or DBP.

THE BEAUTY ROOM
CLIENTS Male clients and teens aged 16 or over are more than welcome to have treatments at the beauty room. Treatments are not suitable for children under the age of 13. Teenagers under the age of 16 may have certain treatments at the beauty room, but must be accompanied by an adult.
HEALTH CONCERNS Please inform when booking if you are undergoing any medical treatment, taking any medication or you are pregnant. You may be advised not to proceed with certain treatments without your doctor’s written consent. Unfortunately clients displaying symptoms of illness or infection will not be treated.
LOYALTY SCHEME* Book five identical treatments and receive your sixth treatment free:
• Treatments must be identical (including your free treatment).
• Each treatment must be booked within 5 weeks of each other.
• The loyalty scheme can not be used in conjunction with any other offer.
*Please ask for a loyalty card on your first visit.
GIFT VOUCHERS Gift vouchers are available and are valid for 3 months. Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
