Before starting, fold all creased lines this way:

4. Find the tab with red shading and with three letters E and one letter D. Fold the tab inwards.

8. Fold the white end of the tab outwards, and insert catches in alphabetical order (D then E)
9. Repeat steps 4-8 for tabs F to O

11. Fold flag in half and tuck into mast
12 -13. Slide one washer onto the mast from the top and one from the bottom.
To help start, roll it around a toothpick, then take the tooth-pick away.

14-15. Start with the upper piece. Fold down and round the window sections by pinching the corners with your finger tips

20. Line up tab Q on roof with Q on the walls.
Roof continued 16. Fold down the remaining tabs, making sure they are outside the windows.
17-18. Fold all creases on the lower piece.
19. Attach the two roofs together, only the tips of the tabs need to go through.
Make sure the tiny triangular tips are tucked in and pinch the sides of the protruding windows to make them square.
If any of the windows are not sit-ting straight, you can push them out again by using a toothpick inserted through the top hole

22. Insert the remaining tabs R to V make sure the small tabs are tucked inside the walls
21. Insert tab Q.

In the next steps we will wrap the tabs 1-12 around the ring so that the win-dows are back to back.

Base continued 25. Line tab 1 up with the ring and wrap it around the ring. Hold it in place with your hand. Make sure the shading matches (green to green) and the numbers (1) match.
26. While holding tab 1, line tab 2 up with the ring and wrap it around. Hold both in place with your hand.
27. Continue wrapping each tab around the ring. Always hold the two preceeding tabs in place.
Some of the earlier tabs may not remain in place as you work around, but keep going as you can fix those later!
Slide the white catches of the last tab under the first one, so there is no white showing. If any of the white catch-es are still showing, you can pull out the next tab and replace it until you have com-plete rows of windows on the inside and out-side.

28. Slide your fingers around the inside, pushing all the inside win-dows until they are in place.

5. Finished model 29. Insert the flag into the hole in the roof and clip the top into the base.
30. You can open and close the Beehive by lifting the Top off the Base.
If any of the inside windows do not remain in place as you open and close the box, you can easily smooth them back with your fingers, or if you like, use a spot of glue.
