Day 1 Today you will take the international flight to Entebbe, Uganda. Day 2 On arrival in Entebbe you will be collected by your private guide/driver and transferred to Lake Mburo to stay at Mihingo Lodge for the next 2 nights. Lake Mburo National Park is a beautiful and picturesque area covering 230 square miles, the park rises to the west of the acacia fringed lake waters into grassy escarpments and closed canopy forest. To the east lie grassy valleys, swampy at the lower levels, with exposed rocky kopjes providing excellent vantage points for leopardThe park lacks lions, rhinos and elephants which allows you to enjoy walks, mountain biking and horse riding as well as going out in a vehicle during the day or night.

Mihingo Lodge has a stunning location on the edge of a rock kopje, with sweeping views of Lake Mburo National Park and the surrounding valley. The twelve luxury tented rooms which are set on wooden platforms with thatched roofs, and all are equipped with an en suite bathroom with hot and cold showers and flushing toilets. The central dining room has been built to lend in with the natural environment, using local rocks and native olive wood, with a lovely thatch roof where you can enjoy fantastic meals overlooking the park.

You will spend 2 nights at the Mihingo Lodge on a full-board basis. Day 4 Today you will be transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to stay at Buhoma Lodge for the next two nights. Here you will have the unique and exciting opportunity to trek into the forest to see the famous mountain gorillas.

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park is on the edge of the Rift Valley in the south west of Uganda and is the true African mountain jungle with incredibly dense vegetation and dramatic scenery. Bwindi is home to over half of the world's remaining population of mountain gorillas, the rest of which are heavily protected in Rwanda. It is one of the most unique and rich forests in Africa. As well as the gorillas there are other primates, elephant, genet, bush buck, duiker, buffalo, leopard and

civet, over 350 bird species and lots of butterflies.

Buhoma is situated within the National Park and is a short distance from the meeting point for gorilla tracking and other activities in the area. There are ten comfortable cottages, each with its own private veranda with wonderful views of the forest canopy. Inside the spacious cottages there are comfortable beds, en suite bathrooms. There is an elevated lounge area, complete with bar and dining facilities with a cosy fireplace to warm up around in the evenings.

You will spend 2 nights at Buhoma Lodge on a full board basis. Day 6 This morning you be driven south to Queen Elizabeth National Park to stay at Kyambura Game Lodge for the next 3 nights. Queen Elizabeth National Park is a beautiful, diverse park on the equator. It has two lakes, George and Edward, connected by the scenic Kazinga Channel. There are also crater lakes to the north , grassy plains, tropical forests and gorges. Due to its diversity, it has the highest number of mammals in any of the Ugandan Parks with 10 types of primate, and you can even see the elusive sitatungwa and shoebill stork in the swamp areas around Lake George. The remote area of Ishasha in the south is a lovely remote area which is famous for tree climbing lions.

Kyambura Game Lodge is situated at the eastern edge of Queen Elizabeth National Park, it offers fantastic views over the national park and the Rwenzori Mountains and is a short distance from the Kyambura Gorge. There are seven spacious and tastefully designed self-contained thatched cottages, with bath tabs/showers with views to the park, running hot and cold water and a private

wooden balcony perched over Queen Elizabeth National Park.

You will spend 3 nights at Kyambura Game Lodge a full-board basis. Day 9 Today you will be transferred to Kibale to stay at Kibale Primate Lodge for the next 2 night. Here you will have the opportunity to go on a trek to find the chimpanzees.

Kibale National Park is a beautiful park in western Uganda and has the greatest variety and concentration of primates found anywhere in East Africa, as well as the most amazing birdlife. The most accessible of Uganda's major rainforests, Kibale is home to a remarkable 13 primate species, including the very localised red colobus and L'Hoest's monkey. Buffalo, giant forest hog and a half dozen antelope species are also found in the park. The elusive forest elephant, smaller and hairier than its savannah counterpart, moves seasonally into some parts of the park

Primate Lodge is a newly renovated lodge in a private concession, in the centre of Kibale Forest and is ideally situated for tracking the area's primates. There are eight luxury safari tents, each with an en-suite shower and a veranda with great views over the forest. There are also six cottages with en-suite bathrooms.

You will spend 2 nights at Kibale Primate Lodge on a fully-inclusive basis. Day 11 Today you will be transferred to Murchison Falls National Park to stay at the Murchison River Lodge for the next 3 nights.

Murchison Falls National Park is the largest park in Uganda. It has beautiful scenery from the dense rainforest on the hilly ranges in the south-west to the undulating savannah of the north. The Nile River splits the park, and forcing itself through a 7 metre gap, creates the incredible 40 metre Murchison Falls, one of the most dramatic sights in Uganda. The park's open river areas attract plains game

including antelopes, buffalos, Rothschild giraffes and elephants. A highlight of any safari here is a boat-trip on the Nile, where you'll see hippos in their hundreds and crocodiles basking in the sunshine.

Murchison River Lodge sits on the river bank itself ensuring great views and many wildlife sightings from the luxury of the camp. At Murchison you can choose to either stay in one of the thatched cottages or safari tents. The lodge itself has a large swimming pool allowing you to cool down in the heat of the day as well as a large restaurant and bar overlooking the river so as to enjoy the panoramic views whilst you dine.

You will spend 3 nights at Murchison River Lodge on a full board basis. Day 14 Today you be transferred to Entebbe to check in for the flight home.
