RELAXATION BENEATHTHE SAILS
Two elegant, exclusive yachts that seamlessly combine an exciting
sailing adventure with a relaxing cruise and the atmosphere of a
private yacht. While our sailing crew enters the masts to set the sails,
down on deck our service team treats the guests to a fi rst-class service.

The legend beneath white sails
A self-assured grande dame, a
stylish yet informal sailing icon and
a generous host – the Sea Cloud
is a living legend. In 1931 the
American millionaire couple
Marjorie Merriweather Post and
Edward Hutton commissioned the
four-masted barque and set about
transforming the luxury private
yacht into a stage for their

jammer. With its four expansive

THE CARIBBEAN: LESSER ANTILLES & GRENADINES
The Lesser Antilles dot the turquoise-coloured Caribbean Sea like a
dazzling pearl necklace. Bordered by the Virgin Islands in the North
and the Grenadines in the South, this dream destination offers a
colourful mixture of natural wonders and joie de vivre.
5
Famous haunts forsailors and yachts
Elegant and relaxed at the same
time: The international sailing
community meets on Virgin Gorda,
St Barths, Îles des Saintes and
Bequia. Those who anchor their
yachts here against the romantic
Caribbean backdrop are adven-
turers, billionaires or bon vivants –
or all of it at once.
Beautiful beaches and idyllic coves
When the sun twinkles through the
palm trees and the toes are dipped
deep into the warm sand, it is
obvious: Idleness can also be a lot
of fun. The British Virgin Islands and
the Tobago Cays entice with tropical
dream beaches – and after a swim
in the crystal-clear sea, a relaxed
beach barbecue is just the thing.
Fascinatingsnorkelling spots
Newly added: Beyond the excursions
available in the various ports, we now
also organise snorkelling tours that offer
inspiring insights into the varied and
fascinating underwater world of the
Caribbean and Central America.

7
Pirates’ territories and colonial heritage
Massive fortifications and pictures-
que facades: The traces of a past,
during which colonial powers and
pirates fought for the treasures of
the Caribbean, are omnipresent.
Green islands and tropical paradises
Dense rain forest, deep volcanic
lakes and roaring waterfalls:
St Lucia, Grenada, Dominica and
Tobago are true natural beauties.
When travelling inland into the lush
green interior of these islands, you
can enjoy the tropical scent of
thousands of blossoms and spices.
Caribbean joie de vivre
When in colonial times, African
and European languages, religions,
customs and culinary traditions
amalgamated, this created some-
thing unique: the Creole culture.
Today, it stands for the colourful
diversity of the sun-drenched
Caribbean islands and a rather
catching joie de vivre.
8
CENTRAL AMERICA: CUBA, COSTA RICA & PANAMA
From the inscrutable depths of the rain forest to vibrant metropolises,
Central America and Cuba are blessed with an amazing abundance
of nature and culture. Ancient traditions and colonial infl uence merge
to a fascinating picture.
Ancient Maya culture in Belize and Mexico
9
Human sacrifice, astronomy,
magical golden treasures – count-
less legends are told of the Maya
culture. In Belize and Mexico, many
of these secrets can be uncovered
by travelling to their fascinating
stone temples in the rain forest and
on the coast.
Diversity in Panama and Costa Rica
The contrasts could not be more
extreme: While skyscrapers grow
higher and higher in the trend metro-
polis Panama City, a few kilometres
away, the untouched jungle still
engulfs everything. With their volca-
noes, cloud forests and exotic fauna,
Panama and Costa Rica count among
the most beautiful of nature’s
paradises in Latin America.
The colourful flair of the ABC islands
Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao flirt
coquettishly with their colonial
heritage. Besides the narrow houses
with their Dutch gables, colourful
divers’ paradises are also to be
enjoyed here.
Cuba, an island full of temperament
Whether in the midst of Havana’s
hustle and bustle or in the little
colonial towns along the enchanting
coast – life on Cuba has a rhythm of
its own. Beyond all clichés of rum,
revolution and cigars, the Caribbean
island has retained its very own
endearing charm.
10
Exploring the dream destination for tall ships: Head for ten treasure islands, luscious green volcanoes and colourful underwater worlds.
The British Virgin Islands – a sailor’s paradise
With more than 60 islands and reefs (of which just 16 are inhabited), the British Virgin Islands are a real dream desti-nation. Fans of sailing from all around the world are drawn to their idyllic and tropically warm waters, and the quaint beach bars bring together everyone from luxury yacht owners to solo sailors. It is so easy to get used to the care-free lifestyle, and with your feet in the sand as you gaze out over green hills and the tranquil sea, you will soon forget about the stresses of everyday life back home.
Luxury in a relaxed atmosphere on St Barths
Known for attracting a certain class of visitor, St Barthélemy has been a top holiday destination for the rich and famous from around the world ever since billionaire David Rockefeller discovered the island back in the 1960s. St Barths is all about quality not quantity, so you are more likely to brush shoulders with Hollywood stars than with tourists on its 22 white sandy beaches. In the capital Gustavia, houses with red roofs nestled into the green hills look just like rows of spectators in an am-phitheatre, transforming the idyllic port into an impressive stage. As you walk along the luxurious promenade, you will be sure to pass by some spectacular yachts.
French style on the ÎIes des Saintes
The ÎIes des Saintes give such a welcoming first impres-sion, though the historical Fort Napoléon that towers over the main island is a reminder of less peaceful times. This small town’s promenade is perfect for taking a stroll, and the savoir-vivre of life here unfolds against a backdrop of the glowing pastel colours of the Caribbean.
Stunning islands: St Lucia and Dominica
Although St Lucia is not considered a saint by everyone, the island is certainly the true queen of this idyllic realm. Even from a distance, its twin volcanic peaks, the Pitons, proffer a regal greeting to the approaching Sea Cloud. And once we have docked, the island welcomes us with its lush tropical scenery. Dominica, unofficially dubbed “Nature Island”, is proud of its unspoilt scenery. One of its national parks is even a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
A delight for all the senses: Grenada, the island of spice
There is a reason why nutmeg is immortalised on this country’s national flag. Since colonial times, nutmeg – along with cloves, cinnamon and ginger – has been one of the island’s most important exports. If the aromatic fragrance of the tropics were to have a name, it would have to be “Grenada”.
Snorkellers’ paradise in the Tobago Cays
For many, life under water is a fascinating world – one that becomes even more magical the closer you get. The Tobago Cays’ Horseshoe Reef is such a place. This horseshoe-shaped coral reef encloses four small islands that glow in rich shades of green. The sea, in contrast, embraces turquoise, emerald and every shade of blue.
A lecturer accompanies the trip
Knowledge, entertainment and facts – our expert is on hand to give talks on a wide variety of specialist sub-jects. He will also be on board to answer any questions that you may have.

A colourful start to the New Year – windjammer feeling among the Lesser Antilles and the Grenadines: Barbados – Antigua
Colourful Caribbean underwater world
Eye to eye with parrotfishes, ocean turtles and damsel- fishes – the Tobago Cays and St Lucia are considered the best diving and snorkelling haunts in the Caribbean. The crystal-clear water with tropical temperatures offers metres deep views and invites to excursions through fascinating, colourful underwater worlds.
Grenada – the island of spice
Although Grenada has been blessed with around 45 picture-perfect beaches, the country’s real treasure remains its lush, green island interior. Deep volcanic lakes, dense rainforests, waterfalls and small river courses form the primordial backdrop of the island’s sugar cane fields and spice plantations. Not surprising that the scent of cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg hangs in the air wherever you go on Grenada.
Nature’s paradise St Lucia
Wild orchids beguile with their seductive scent; the volcanic cones of the Pitons rise emerald green from the blue ocean; hidden beaches dot the coast – St Lucia is an island that charms all senses. The botanical garden offers a close-up view of this natural paradise’s many treasures: In the thousands of flowers and plants, the diversity of the island’s flora reveals itself in all its splendour.
French flair on the Îles des Saintes
Roughly 15 kilometres (9.3 miles) off Guadeloupe, the Îles des Saintes rise green from the sea. Columbus, who set foot on them on All Saints’ Day in 1493, gave the “holy islands” their name. Terre-de-Haut is the most charming of the eight isles: Beneath the historical Fort Napoléon, you can take a relaxed stroll through the little town and enjoy the French flair of its bars, cafés and boutiques.

The imposing granite formations “The Baths”
Hidden grottos, shallow pools and the sun peeking through rocks polished round by the sea and sand – on Virgin Gorda, nature has created a romantic water playground for adults: The impressive stone labyrinth “The Baths” is the perfect place to while away the hours between coconut palms and the turquoise sea.

Sail along ancient pirates’ trails to the island paradises of the British Virgin Islands and the Lesser Antilles: Antigua – Barbados
The British Virgin Islands – a beautiful sailing destination
The British Virgin Islands, with their white sandy beaches, coral reefs and friendly beach bars, are made up of 60 islands and reefs. When cruising along the Sir Francis Drake Channel, the Sea Cloud calls at two of its stunning natural beauty spots. The tiny islands dotted in the water and warm, gentle breezes make this water- way – named after the famous seafarer – a veritable paradise for sailors.
“The Baths” – imposing granite formations
It is sometimes easy to think that this is one of nature’s fairy tales: Once upon a time, there was a giant who played with large stone marbles. His favourite play-ground was in Virgin Gorda, a place now called “The Baths” – a gigantic rock labyrinth made out of circular- shaped granite.
Relaxed luxury on St Barths
Ever since billionaire David Rockefeller discovered the island for himself in the 1960s, St Barthélemy has been a favourite destination for the international jetset. Mystical Maya sites, colourful coral reefs, atmospheric Cuba and relaxation with a rhythm of your very own.
Megacity in the jungle: Panama City
As an international trade centre, gate to the Panama Canal and starting point for excursions to spectacular national parks, Panama City has evolved into a lively trend metropolis. Away from the sparkling skyline, time still moves at a different pace in the old quarter of the Casco Viejo: Strolling along grand old boulevards lined with bougainvillea is like walking right back into colonial times.
The Bocas del Toro National Park
Bocas del Toro is the name of a town and a province in the north-west of Panama. It also encompasses six larger islands and countless smaller ones. The region’s main attraction is its national marine park – a sanctuary that allows plants and animals to fl ourish both above and below the waterline. That is why, on our boat and snorkelling excursion, we are able to take you to white sandy beaches and offer you the fi nest glimpse of the underwater world in crystal clear waters.
Several relaxing days at sea
Besides crossing worlds and discovering new lands, we let relaxation take a front seat on our yacht for fi ve whole days. Plenty of time to enjoy life under the white sails and be spoilt in every way.
The world’s second largest coral reef
The Belize Barrier Reef is a 256-kilometre-long (159 miles) reef system which contains countless small coral islands. The Lighthouse Reef Atoll features a particularly special natural wonder: the Great Blue Hole. This circular sub-marine sinkhole, with a diameter of over 300 metres (0.19 miles), was formed during the last ice age and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Donning your snorkel and getting an underwater view is obviously another great way to discover the impressive beauty of the reef.
Maya cities in Mexico and Belize
The sophisticated culture of the Maya in Central America, which began roughly 5,000 years ago and ended around the time of the Spanish conquest, is still a mystery. Their ceremonies seem to have been gory, their step pyramids imposing, and their stone carvings required a great deal of skill. On our trip you will disco-ver three mystical Maya strongholds: Tulum, in Mexico, is the only Maya city situated on the coast; Altun Ha and Lamanai are located in Belize. Constructed on the banks of an inland lagoon, Lamanai remained populated for roughly 3,000 years. Excavations have revealed that over 20,000 people lived there around 700 AD.

A perfectly mixed holiday cocktail of rum and rumba, beaches and cities, cultural heritage and gorgeous nature.
Trinidad’s old town
Trinidad de Cuba is a small, friendly place with a long history as a centre for sugar cane farming. Its charming coastal setting, lovingly restored facades and gentle pace of life can be experienced in any of the town’s beautiful squares and in the narrow, historic alleyways. This small town has a well-deserved place on the UNESCO World Heritage Site list.
The spirited music of Cuba
If Cuba is the birthplace of almost every Latin dance style, then Santiago de Cuba is the stage on which they are performed. Nowhere else will you find so much live music or dancing. In the town’s clubs, bars and dance schools, the rhythms of salsa, son and rumba are omnipresent and just as thrilling as in the world-famous Buena Vista Social Club.
Port Antonio – natural beauty in Jamaica
Known for its reggae, Rastafarians and rum, Jamaica has many magical and serene natural settings to offer along-side its rousing rhythms. Port Antonio in the northeast is the spot on the island with the most beautiful scenery. With its perfect beaches, lush tropical vegetation and countless caves, rivers and waterfalls, the area surroun-ding this small colonial town has been a celebrity hotspot since the nineteen-forties, attracting famous visitors like Errol Flynn and providing the exotic backdrop for a num-ber of films.
The British Virgin Islands – a sailor’s paradise
With more than 60 islands and reefs (of which only 16 are inhabited), the British Virgin Islands are a real dream desti-nation. Fans of sailing from all around the world are drawn to their idyllic and tropically warm waters; and the quaint beach bars bring together everyone from luxury yacht owners to solo sailors. It is so easy to get used to the care-free lifestyle; and with your feet in the sand as you gaze out over green hills and the tranquil sea, you will soon forget about the stresses of everyday life back home.
Luxury in a relaxed atmosphere on St Barths
Known for attracting a certain class of visitor, St Barthé- lemy has been a top holiday destination for the rich and famous ever since billionaire David Rockefeller discovered the island back in the nineteen-sixties. St Barths is all about quality not quantity, so you are more likely to brush shoulders with Hollywood stars than with tourists on its 22 white sandy beaches. In the capital Gustavia, houses with red roofs nestled into the green hills look just like rows of spectators in an amphitheatre, transforming the idyllic port into an impressive stage. As you walk along the luxurious promenade, you will be sure to pass by some spectacular yachts.

From pirates’ coves to the ports of the jetset – on the warm trade winds through the island world of the Lesser Antilles: Barbados – Barbados
Relaxed luxury on St Barths
Ever since billionaire David Rockefeller discovered the island for himself in the 1960s, St Barthélemy has been a favourite destination for the international jetset. You spend some time on one of the glorious beaches, then stroll along the luxurious promenade, and bring the day to a relaxed close enjoying a sundowner while gazing at the impressive private yachts in Gustavia’s harbour.
