The Best Valentine Ever

Valentine’s Day is a holiday where people often buy cards, flowers and candy to tell the people in their lives how much they love them. But

what if you never got a valentine?

In a lot of ways, people all around the world are still waiting to receive the best valentine ever — the Bible! In the Bible, we learn about the greatest act of love in all of history: when God sent Jesus to earth to save us from our sins. If you didn’t have the Bible in your language, you wouldn’t be able to understand God’s love in a way that makes sense in your heart.

This Valentine’s Day, let’s pray that people all around the world would learn about Jesus — the best valentine ever — in their own language!

Let’s make a valentine!Color this Valentine’s Day picture on the next page, and write or draw something to remind you of God’s amazing love for you! Maybe you’ll choose to write out a verse like John 3:16 or 1 John 4:19. Or maybe you’ll write the name of someone that you’re praying will understand just how much God loves them! (If you want to pray for a people group that’s still waiting for the Bible in their own language, have your mom or dad visit wycliffe.org/pray to sign up for a Bibleless people group.) You could even give this away to someone as a reminder that Jesus loves them!
