Nehemiah 8:1-3, 5-12 - Ezra reads the Book of The Law to the people

There are 6 things that help us see the authority of the Bible and why it is important. THEY ARE:

1. It is ________________________________ by God and it is

(God breathed, and for our instruction) 2 Tim. 3:16-17 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching,

rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of Godmay be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

2. It is the very ________________________________ of God. (God spoke through men who were set apart for His work) 2 Samuel 23:2 The Spirit of the LORD spoke through me;

his word was on my tongue.

Jeremiah 1:9 Then the LORD reached out his hand and touched my mouth and said to me, “I have put my words in your mouth.“

3. It is ________________________________ and it lasts

________________________________. (It is the only rule of faith and practice)

Psalm 111:7-8 The works of his hands are faithful and just; all his precepts are trustworthy. They are established for ever and ever,

enacted in faithfulness and uprightness.

children’s size X-Small through adult size Small. Larger adult sized coats can also be donated and will be given to the

Rock Creek Homeless Ministry.
