her mother taught him how to read the alphabet.

His sister Conception died.• 1865 – 1867
His mother taught him how to read and write
Leon Monroy – taught Rizal the rudiments of Latin
Uncle Manuel Albert – taught the latter love for the nature
Uncle Gregorio – instilled love for education
