Style. Class. And a certain amount of sex
appeal. Should we expect such virtues
from a sports car? In our opinion: absolutely.
With the Black Edition models, we have
further enhanced these characteristics.
With an exquisite specification. With the
performance you expect from Porsche.
And a stylish assurance that leaves no
question unanswered. Not from you. And
presumably not from your neighbours
either.
4 | Black Edition concept
Purely and simply, we have given the
Cayman and Boxster something to once
again heighten that sports car fascination.
And something that will not let you go so
quickly.
Object of desire: the new Cayman
Black Edition and Boxster Black Edition
models.
What do our designers dream of? See for yourself.
Black Edition concept.

Cayman Black Edition
Your own path is never predetermined. You
just have to take it. With a mid-mounted
engine and a passion for curves. And a
clear line that seduces the eye and takes
the breath away. Like the new Cayman
Black Edition.
A design that sticks in the mind: that
distinctive nose. The wings are higher than
the front lid – just as they should be on a
Porsche. Other characteristic features
include the side air intakes behind the
doors, the low silhouette and the long
wheelbase.
The roads can also be stirred up with style.
Cayman Black Edition.
Bi-Xenon headlights including Porsche
Dynamic Light System (PDLS) are standard
equipment. As are the 20-inch Carrera
Classic wheels. Just made for taking every
curve as it deserves.
And the black interior attracts attention as
well: door sill guards with ‘Black Edition’
logo. The excellent grip of the SportDesign
steering wheel. Sports seats with the
Porsche Crest embossed on the headrests.
And Porsche Communication Management
(PCM) including navigation module.
Everything follows one design, one that,
with every line, every edge, demands more.
The new Cayman Black Edition clearly
shows that you don’t have to be loud to
make a point – but the boxer engine thinks
it’s nice if you can.

Drive concept of the Cayman Black Edition.
It drives you forward. While giving you its
full backing: the six-cylinder mid-mounted
engine. Precise. Direct. And pure. The
ideal prerequisite for you not simply to
navigate the curve, but to savour each and
every one from start to finish.

Boxster Black Edition
Boxster Black Edition
The Boxster is more than a roadster, more
than a go-getting mid-engined sports car.
It is a symbol of freedom behind the
wheel. So we have taken the liberty of
making you an almost indecent proposal:
the Boxster Black Edition.
And it will attract attention: large air
intakes. Prominent wings typical of any
Porsche. Side air intakes behind the
doors. A characteristically long
wheelbase. And the tapering silhouette.
As if that were all.
Seduces the eye, relishes the curves.
Boxster Black Edition.
Optimum visibility is provided by Bi-Xenon
headlights including Porsche Dynamic
Light System (PDLS) while, for optimum
looks, even the roll-over bars are painted
in black. The Boxster Black Edition has
20-inch Carrera Classic wheels which
further emphasise its urge for freedom.
It does it with style. Without the need to
impose.
This also applies to the black interior.
From the door sill guards with ‘Black
Edition’ logo and the SportDesign steering
wheel to the Sports seats with embossed
Porsche Crest on the headrests. Indeed,
the entire interior package has been put
together exclusively by the designers
responsible. Porsche Communication
Management (PCM) including navigation
module is also included.
That’s the Boxster Black Edition.
Sporty and elegant, you might say.
Yet sporty and agile when driven.

Just lead yourself into temptation.
Drive concept of the Boxster Black Edition.
There are some moments when all that
exists is the six-cylinder mid-mounted
engine located just 30 cm behind you. And
your foot on the accelerator pedal. Each
movement has an immediate effect – on
the speedometer and on the endorphins in
your bloodstream.

Granted, it isn’t easy to make a Porsche
even more desirable. But it is possible. By
giving it something that increases
awareness of the essentials. Putting it on
the road just as our designers envisaged.
With an enhanced specification, enhanced
aesthetic appeal, and a line that couldn’t
be clearer: simply Porsche. An assurance
of style – guaranteed. The only catch?
The irresistible lure of one of your heart’s
desires.
