High Falls

High Falls is one of our favorite hikes atBlooming Grove. It’s a beautiful hike, and if theweather/water-level permits, jumping off of thefalls is quite the exhilarating experience. Forthose unable to make the hike, the falls are also accessible by vehicle. When guests check-in,we’ll provide hiking/driving directions for thoseinterested in checking out the falls.

Beaver Lake

Beaver Lake is a beautiful spot and definitelyworth your time if you’d like to enjoy somePennsylvanian serenity. Row boats are available.Although some of us have jumped into this lakein years past, unless you enjoy swimming withsnapping turtles, Lake Beaver (unlike Lake Giles)isn’t a great place for swimming!

Clubhouse Area

As you enter the club and “bear” left on ClubhouseRoad, you’ll arrive at the clubhouse, which willbe the hub of all of our activities throughout theweekend. Guests will check-in at the clubhouse,and Saturday’s light lunch and Sunday’s brunchwill take place there. Our cocktail hour will takeplace at the red barn adjacent to the clubhouse,and Sunday’s softball game will be in the large field.For those wishing to drive, parking is available atthe clubhouse area.

Wedding Reception

Our Wedding Reception will take place in ourparents’ backyard – about ¼ mile walk from theclubhouse area. After our cocktail hour,guests will “parade” from the red barn to thehouse (transportation will be also be provided).After our reception, the night owls can return tothe red barn for an after party!

Lake Giles

Our rehearsal dinner will take place Friday nightat the Lake Giles boat house. Throughout theweekend, guests can enjoy this beautiful, crystalclear body of water. It’s great for swimming andboating, and there’s a 2-mile hiking trail aroundthe lake.
