• K-5 Eats in their classroom
• 6-12 will utilize large and small cafeteria, auditorium foyer and media center for lunch
• Service providers using elementary library
• Spaces and rooms have been utilized to adjust to the social distancing guidelines.• Following slides show how adjustments were made.

Full Barriers extending beyond table edges
This is one option we will utilize as we transition to bringing more students back.
Masks would still be worn in this layout.
Desk Rows with Tall Partitions
This layout allows for students desks to be closer together with tall partitions separating to achieve appropriate level of protection.
Masks would still be worn in this layout.
Pin Wheel Layout
This layout allows the use of the traditional desks but with added protection of barriers separating each of the desks.
Masks would still be worn in this layout.
Most of our rooms are wider vs. longer in which this set up would be utilized.

DOH / Dr. Collins Opinions
Our latest conversations with the DOH and our School Physician, Dr. Collins, regarding the feasibility of bring more students back, confirmed our thought that now is not the appropriate time.
Positive cases have been on the rise in the last few weeks, including Livingston County.
Although our accommodations would meet all requirements, at this time the increase in the infection rate and the start of flu season cause us to be extra cautious.
The safety and well being of students is always our number one priority.
How will the Decision be made:
• Continuing discussions with DOH and our School Physician
• Discussions with the GFA
• Continued collaboration with neighboring schools
• Implementation of a Committee to provide updates and feedback
At this point, any changes to the current instructional model would not occur until at least January, 2021.
We are committed to bringing our students back, but only when it can be done safely, and with support of all stakeholders.
