EDUCATIONALOBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this seminar, participants should be able to:• Assess recent advances in clinical medicine and related sciences in light of
the supporting evidence;
• Apply updated knowledge of Internal Medicine to clinical practice to improve patient care;
• Outline the clinical implications of recent research in selected areas of Internal Medicine;
• Evaluate and respond to changes in the external practice environment and their potential impact on medical practice and patient care; and
• Improve clinical practice by incorporating major new developments in subspecialty medicine.

information provided in this seminar, which would translate into improved clinical outcomes;
