STEEL SILO
Flat bottom & Hopper silo
Body of these Silos have made from corrugated hot dip galvanized plate that connected
together with nut and bolt .So Why we use corrugated plate? there are tow main reasons
that such sheets are applied:
1- corrugated wall is more stronger than flat and even economical
2- An additional advantage of silos with corrugated walls is that the collapse does not
occur rapidly (due to a stable equilibrium path after reaching the first limit point)
And then deformation of sidewall because of lateral pressure is not big
