Participation in the auction implies unconditional acceptance of the following terms and conditions of sale. Prior registration, via presentation of an official piece of identification, is compulsory for all potential buyers. Sales are executed in cash in euros. Catalogue prices are starting prices. The purchaser of an item will be its highest and last bidder. In addition to hammer price, a buyer’s fee will be charged: 19 % plus VAT if applicable; an additional charge of 3 % will be added to the invoice of all successful live internet bids. If the sale is contested or an error is made, the lot will be re-auctioned. The bailiff or executing notary will decide any issues that may arise during the sale without appeal. All benefits and risks are transferred to the buyer on completion of the sale. The buyer acts on his or her own behalf and is personally responsible for paying all amounts due. He must make payment before proceeding, as soon as is feasible, with the removal of the lots purchased. The Auction House reserves the right to cancel the sale should the invoice remainunpaid thirty days after the auction. Authenticity of coins is guaranteed for the total purchase amount.
