SAP is intended to help local governments perform
facility safety evaluations as quickly as possible.

SAP Capabilities
– Managed by Cal OES – Multi-Hazard
Training Available
• Evaluator – for civil engineers, architects, and building inspectors (~6,700 in CA, ~2,300 outside CA)
• Coordinator – for building officials and emergency managers (~350)
• Train-the-Trainer – to train evaluators to become official trainers (~230)
