Fall 2015 workshop highlightsIn fall 2015, the City hosted 11 area-specific workshops with over 600 attendees providing feedback on the proposed Phase 3 focus areas. These are the areas where we’re exploring potential change, and gathering local perspectives on new housing ideas, such as those featured below.
Participants also provided input on the future of larger unique sites in the Corridor, which require special consideration due to their size, land use and role in the neighbourhood.
Please check out the summary of ‘What We Heard’ at the fall workshops: vancouver.ca/cambiecorridor
We’ve updated the Focus Areas*Community members provided feedback on the proposed focus area boundaries where we’re exploring new housing types. This input informed a more detailed technical review to help revise the focus area boundaries.
*The map to the right shows updated focus area boundaries. A larger, more detailed map will be available at the Spring Expo for comment.
Examples of housing types being explored in the Focus Areas
