Conference Information: The Casper Caregiver Conference is FREE but registration is required. The conference is a joint effort of AARP WY, The Wyoming Center on Aging, Casper Senior Center, Reveille Rotary of Casper, Caring Hands of Wyoming and the Wyoming Department of Health Aging Division/Family Caregiving Program. The goal of the conference is to provide information, support, and resources to individuals caring for another with a chronic or acute health condition.

Lodging: A limited block of rooms has been reserved at the Ramada Plaza, Casper, WY at a discounted rate of $79.00. When making reservations at the hotel, please mention that you are with the Casper Caregiver Conference to receive the discounted rate. Call (307) 235-2531

Registration Information: Please register by April 11th, 2016. There are two ways to register, please see the below. Based on your availability be sure to register for Friday, Saturday or both. Regis-tration for Respite and the Caregiver Dinner are separate. Walk-ins are welcome.

Respite Care Services: Is provided during the conference to caregivers, by Caring Hands of Wyo-ming at the Casper Senior Center FREE of charge. This program will provide supervision and oversight of participants by those that have received specialized training on a wide variety of topics relevant to the adults they serve. An RSVP for Respite Care services is needed to Tifanee at (307) 265-4678 by March 31st, 2016. *Professional Continuing Education Info (Friday): The Wyoming Psychological Association has approved CES for this work-shop. WyCOA maintains complete responsibility for the program. Nursing CEs approved through the Wyoming Hospital As-sociation. The Tripartite Committee on Continuing Education for Pharmacy in Wyoming approves this workshop for CE hours. All others will receive a certificate of attendance used to self-report.
