Introduction As English teachers, we want to enjoy teaching, we

want to motivate our students, we want them to learn as much as they can, etc.The ‘centimeter’ project was designed to motivate our students, to make them learn and to enjoy ourselves with them. You will see students from 2nd of Primary working, observing, experimenting, measuring, laughing, communicating, …because this is in fact a CLIL project.

In these pictures, it can be seen how four students from different groups were working. They were tracing the foot on a rectangular piece of paper.

In this image, it can be seen how the whole class is measuring their feet in groups.

This is a photo of the final project they have to do: the four feet one following the other. As it can be seen, in the middle of the

foot there is a number: the measure of each foot. Above the foot, there is the student’s name.

In this photo, you can see a group of students showing their project.

Finally, in this photo you can see the projects of six different groups. You can appreciate they are in order. The first one (at the top) is the group that got the highest sum (the biggest feet!!!). The last one (at the bottom) is the group that got the lowest sum (the smallest feet!!!).
