The central dogma is the most

basic process that all the cells

have to do.

Most organisms use DNA to store

genetic information. The DNA

passes from parents to offspring

over generations.

New tool puts accurate DNA analysis in fast lane.Bioengineers’ method should lead to better database of

thermal behaviors.

One characteristic of this new

development is that cuts the time

required to analyze the DNA and

RNA strands from months to hours.

New tool puts accurate DNA analysis in fast

lane.

Typically, the researchers have been studied a

specific DNA sequence by the melting curve

analysis. Zhang said that this method is

inaccurate, because the results are not exact.

lane.

The innovation of this tool, its that it can measure

exact thermodynamics at the temperatures and

other variables.

The Rice method will be available for everyone..

Observation:

DNA research offers clues on cell mutation.

Mutations or demages can lead

to various deaseses. The

following step for making it right

would be fixing the DNA, and for

that we need RNA.

Page 11: The Central dogma

DNA research offers clues on cell mutation.

The outside and inside environment could cause

damage to the cells.

Page 12: The Central dogma

DNA research offers clues on cell mutation.

Studies show

that RNA has an

important role.

Indeed, cells

have actually

more RNA than

DNA.

Page 13: The Central dogma

DNA research offers clues on cell mutation.

Reasearch it’s been done about promising

treatments for deaseses like Aicardi-Goutieres

and cancer. This because those deaseses

have some form of alteration in chromosomal

structure.

Page 14: The Central dogma

Observation:

Page 15: The Central dogma

I think that this reasearch

would have a very

positive effect in the

future.

Page 16: The Central dogma

Medical Utility

Most of the deaseses have as starter some gene alteration, which can be treated if they’re soon diagnosed and if there is found the gene that

codifies those.

Page 17: The Central dogma

Medical Utility

Some deaseses are most likely to develop under

certain environmental circumstances, such as

temperature, stress, chemical exposure, and more.

That said, if the database comes out succesfull,

the people could know what kind of

circumstances can affect their deaseses.

Page 18: The Central dogma

Medical Utility

The technology moves so quick that in the

future we could have so much more deaseses

cured, but at the same time, environmental

conditions keep getting worse.
