• Data backbone of the EO Handbook • Cornerstone for CEOS coordination on gaps

and overlaps to optimise global observations– Now a mature and powerful information resource

Coordination with WGClimate

• Discussions on going on support to WGClimate & Climate Architecture– Unified annual survey process– Maximum integration of information in database– Different ‘branding’ of entry points is straightforward

• WGClimate still determining their needs– Early days for Climate Architecture

• MIM team ready to be responsive in support of this important activity

• Print update of the CEOS Earth Observation Handbook considered for launch at Rio+20
