About The RebbeRabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson,was born on Friday, April 18, 1902, inthe Ukrainian-Russian town of Nikolaev.
Recognized by his teachers as a child prodigy, the Rebbe outgrew formal teaching in his early childhood and was taught by private tutors. In his teens, he was already corresponding with noted Torah scholars several decades his senior.

The Rebbe’s LegacySurvived Russian oppression and the holocaust — but touched by both.
The “Rebbe”, as he was reverently know to the millions of people who admired and follow him, was the one individual who was responsible for stirring and awakening the conscience and spirit of the post-holocaust world.
Involved in the Gulf War, Six Day War, Women’s Rights, establishment of “college drop in centers,” drug rehab centers, medical centers, educations centers and countless other religious institutions around the world.
World leaders sought his advice, learnedfrom the Rebbe, and honored the Rebbe.

The Centennial TributeThe Centennial Philharmonic Tribute will showcase 300 years of Chabad-Lubavitch musical masterworks performed by a 60 piece philharmonic orchestra, featuring “Screens with Scenes” — a simultaneousgiant video-wall of moments withthe Rebbe, and scenes from around the Jewish world, thematically set to the music.
The symphony of sound and pictures will also feature international performers, andan award-winning video documentaryon the Rebbe's life.
