Girl Talk navigating the journey

Saturday, January 25 from 1-4pm at St. Luke’s Hospital.

A FREE event for moms and daugh-ters ages 11 an older. Naviating the preteen and teen years can be challenging for girls and their moms. Enjoy an inspiring and fun afternoon filled with health infor-mation, communication tips and self esteem strategies to help you both make the most of the journey and turn it into the trip

of a lifetime.

Featured Speaker:

Tim Jordan, MD, a Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician, is considered a leading expert on parting girls. Dr. Jordan helps girls discover their ―true selves‖ as they transform into strong and ful-

filled women.

Grandparents/Grand Friends Day

Saturday, January 25: 6:00PM – 9:00PM

Family Shield Ministries will host it's Annual Family Shield Trivia

Night in partnership with Our Lady's Inn. The theme for the evening

is Road Trip USA. The event will be held at St. Elizabeth's Parish

Hall in Sappington, MO (1420 S. Sappington Rd.).

Doors open at 6pm and trivia will begin at 7pm. Cost is $20/

person and includes an auction, drinks, and food.

Annual Family Shield Trivia Night

Friday, January 17: 6:00PM – 10:00PM - The Concordia Seminary

is having its annual basketball tournament that includes the Ft

Wayne Seminary and two other local colleges. Come watch these

future Preachers play their hearts out on the court at Pederson

Fieldhouse on the Seminary campus. Free admission

LHSS Transition Night

Be ready for the transition to high school! Attend the LHSS High

School Transition Night on Wednesday, January 15, from 7:00 to

8:30 p.m. This second of three Transition Nights for 8th graders

and their parents will include a discussion about the ACT Explore

Test results as students prepare for college prep curriculum in high

school. Whether you’ve made the decision to attend LHSS or are

still considering your choice, this is a great way to learn more

about the Lancer experience. No registration required. Questions,

Join us for CCLS Night

At the Magic House

Sunday, January 19th, 6-8 p.m.

Come enjoy an evening of fun for both

parents and kids!

The Magic House is closed to the public during these hours. Only CCLS

families and their guests will have access. Bring a friend to come and play!

The cost is $4 per person.

Everyone age 2 and older must have a ticket.

No need to keep track of tickets! Your family’s registration will be kept on

a list at the entrance.

Tickets will be given out in the order that registration is received.

Magic House policy states that there must be one adult for every five

children. This is not a drop-off event. Please make reservations

accordingly.

Reservations will be taken on-line, and can be charged to your TADS

account.
