Tuesday's rehearsal was full of pleasant surprises for me!

During VSB, I was expecting the vowel at the top of the exercise to pop out (and I had a plan to work through that) -- BUT your vocal skills shone

through, and there wasn't any issue, not even when you were near the top of your range!

The visual plan for Jingle Bell Rock came together with just a few run-throughs! Thanks, again, to Jill & Andrea for creating a plan that fits us and the music so well.

ColorWheel's beautiful rendition of A Time for Joy made it easy for you to start CHRISTmas with no problems; we went through it the last time just because it's so pretty!

You're singing the key places for timing in Diddly Squat ("mad" and the last "squat") just as they should be!

Thinking of being the drummer, staying in the groove (and the style) of the song, helped both Diddly Squat and Jingle Bell Jazz -- without a lot of work! And what better way to celebrate my birthday, than spending the evening with you, sharing music and cupcakes! And the best surprise of all is that I'm truly enjoying helping CCC prepare for the show in December! Your flexibility and willingness to play along are making it a pleasure to be in front of you. ANNOUNCEMENTS The deadline for booking our rooms for contest in

March is Dec. 8. No money is due now, but we have to send in our rooming list. Jill is taking care of this for us, so get your roommates together and tell her your information ASAP.

Be sure to make your reservations for retreat in Laughlin by Dec. 20. See the link and info Colleen gave us in this Chatter under Retreat. Remember, if you phone in your reservation, there’s an additional $10 charge, so use the link and do it online.

Plan to bring your black/silver outfit next week on Nov. 28 for a costume check for our Season’s Greetings show and our Smith Center performance. See Costume Corner in this Chatter.

Patti sent out a flyer for members to get discount tickets for Nevada Ballet Theatre’s performance of the Nutcracker on Wednesday, Dec. 20. There is another flyer posted on our Facebook page for friends and fans of Celebrity City Chorus to get a discount with a code. Feel free to share this flyer with your friends. DONATIONS MADE

Per Virginia, the chorus donated our part T-shirts and black T-shirts to the animal shelter; they were very happy and thankful to have this donation since they don’t get a lot of clothing in donations. The tuxedo shirts and sparkly shoes were donated to the Salvation Army. The dance shoes were kept to help a new person save a little money on shoes. Also, Virginia found a witch’s hat charm on the table and kept it. If you are the owner, please see Virginia.
