“CROWN HIM” Presented by NEPC Music

Hymns of Coronation

arr. Bradley Knight Joyful, joyful, we adore Thee, God of glory, Lord of love.

Hearts unfold like flow’rs before Thee, opening to the sun above. Melt the clouds of sin and sadness; drive the dark of doubt away.

Giver of immortal gladness, fill us with the light of day.

Mortals, join the happy chorus which the morning stars began. Father love is reigning o’er us; brother love binds man to man. Ever singing, march we onward, victors in the midst of strife.

Joyful music leads us sunward in the triumph son of life.

Crown Him with many crowns, the Lamb upon His throne. Hark! How the heav’nly anthem drowns all music but its own.

Awake my soul and sing of Him who died for thee, And hail Him as thy matchless King through all eternity.

Crown Him the Lord of heav’n, One with the Father known,

One with the Spirit through Him giv’n from yonder glorious throne. To Thee be endless praise, for Thou for us hast died.

Be Thou, O Lord, through endless days adored and magnified.

All hail the pow’r of Jesus’ name! Let angels prostrate fall. Bring forth the royal diadem, and crown Him Lord of all.

Bring forth the royal diadem, and crown Him! Crown Him! We’ll crown Him Lord of all!

Behold the Lamb Dottie Rambo/arr. David T. Clydesdale

Behold the Lamb, behold the Lamb, slain from the foundation of the world. For sinners crucified, O holy Sacrifice, behold the Lamb of God. Behold the Lamb.

Crown Him! Crown Him! Worthy is the Lamb. Praises! Praises! Heav’n and earth resound!

Behold the Lamb, behold the Lamb, slain from the foundation of the world. For sinners crucified O Holy Sacrifice, behold the Lamb of God. Behold the Lamb of God.

Behold the Lamb of God. Behold the Lamb! Behold the Lamb! Behold the Lamb!

When I Survey the Wondrous Cross arr. Dan Forrest

When I survey the wondrous cross on which the Prince of Glory died, my richest gain I count but loss, and pour contempt on all my pride.

Forbid it, Lord, that I should boast, save in the death of Christ my God;

all the vain things that charm me most, I sacrifice them to His blood.

See, from His head, His hands, His feet, sorrow and love flow mingled down; did e’er such love and sorrow meet, or thorns compose so rich a crown?

Were the whole realm of nature mine, that were a present far too small;

love so amazing, so divine, demands my soul, my life, my all. Words by Isaac Watts. Copyright © 2010 by Beckenhorst Press, Inc. CCLI License #541575.

At the Cross (Love Ran Red) Matt Redman, Jonas Myrin, Chris Tomlin, Ed Cash and Matt Armstrong/

arr. Bradley Knight Tim Tessier, Jeremy Reasoner, Linda Killinger, soloists

There’s a place where mercy reigns and never dies. There’s a place where streams of grace flow deep and wide,

Where all the love I’ve ever found comes like a flood. Comes flowing down.

At the cross, at the cross I surrender my life. I’m in awe of You. I’m in awe of You. Where Your love ran red, and my sin washed white,

I owe all to You, I owe all to You, Jesus.

There’s a place where sin and shame are powerless; Where my heart has peace with God and forgiveness,

Where all the love I’ve ever found comes like a flood, comes flowing down.

At the cross, at the cross I surrender my life . . . . .

Here, My hope is found, here on holy ground, here I bow down, here I bow down. Here, arms open wide, here You saved my life.

Here I bow down, here I bow.

At the cross, at the cross I surrender my life . . . . .

Jesus paid it all; all to Him I owe. Sin had left a crimson stain. He washed it white as snow. Sin had left a crimson stain. He washed it white as snow.

Jesus Paid It All arr. Robert Sterling

I hear the Savior say, “Thy strength indeed is small! Child of weakness, watch and pray. Find in me thine all in all.”

Jesus paid it all, All to Him I owe. Sin had left a crimson stain, He washed it white as snow.

For nothing good have I whereby Thy grace to claim. I’ll wash my garments white in the blood of calv’ry’s Lamb.

Jesus paid it all, All to Him I owe. Sin had left a crimson stain, He washed it white as snow.

And when before the throne I stand in Him complete, “Jesus died my soul to save,” my lips shall still repeat.

Jesus paid it all, All to Him I owe. Sin had left a crimson stain, He washed it white as snow. Copyright © 1985 by GlorySound. CCLI License #541575.

Face to Face (Peter’s Song)

arr. Kelly Allsopp and Loisa Wright Jeremy Reasoner, soloist

I recall something in the way You called my name, an ordinary fisherman. You called me friend, and took me in, how ev’rything had changed

‘Cause then I knew I’d never be the same Love came and rescued me. I gave up my ev’rything to follow.

Now I know all that I was before, won’t matter anymore, For I am a new man ‘cause I have seen my Savior face to face.

I recall standing in the courtyard by the fire,

Words still ringing in my head. Three time before the break of morn You would be denied, yet I saw no judgment in Your eyes. Love came and died for me. I gave up ev’rything to follow.

Now I know all that I was before is dead and it lives no more, For I am a new man ‘cause I have seen my Savior face to face.

The dark night, the new day, the stone was rolled away. My Savior, You are alive! “Ascended to heaven,

I know that You will come again. That moment I will rise. To worship before Your throne, to bow down, for You alone are worthy, so worthy.

And with the saints of old, I’ll sing out a brand new song. In heaven forever where I will see my Savior face to face, face to face.

To the Lamb on the Throne Dan Forrest

Worthy the Lamb. Ye Servants of God, your Maker proclaim, and publish abroad His wonderful name;

The name all victorious of Jesus extol: His kingdom is glorious and rules over all.

“Salvation to God, who sits on the throne!” Let all cry aloud, and honor the Son; The praises of Jesus the angels proclaim, fall down on their faces and worship the Lamb. God rules in the height almighty to save; though hid from our sight, His presence we have,

The great congregation His triumph shall sing, Ascribing salvation to Jesus our King.

Then let us adore and give Him His right, all glory and pow’r, all wisdom and might; All honor and blessing with angels above, and thanks never ceasing and infinite love.

Worthy the Lamb!” Copyright © 2015 by Beckenhorst Press, Inc. CCLI #541575.

Crown Him with Many Crowns arr. Joan J. Pinkston

King of kings! And Lord of lords! Great and marvelous are Thy works, Lord God Almighty; Just and true are Thy ways, Thou King, Thou King of saints.

Who shall not fear Thee, O Lord, and glorify Thy name? For only Thou art holy, For only Thou art holy, For only Thou art holy,

King of kings! King of kings! And Lord of lords!

Crown Him with many crowns, The Lamb upon His throne; Hark! How the heav’nly anthem drowns all music but its own!

Awake, my soul, and sing of Him Who died for thee, And hail Him as thy matchless King through all eternity.

King of kings! And Lord of lords.

Crown Him the Lord of love! Behold His hands and side, Rich wounds, yet visible above, in beauty glorified:

His glories now we sing Who died, and rose on high, Who died, eternal life to bring, and lives that death may die.

King of kings! And Lord of lords!

Crown Him the Lord of Life, Who triumphed o’er the grave, Who rose victorious in the strife for those He came to save;

To Thee be endless praise, for Thou for us hast died. Be Thou, O Lord, through endless days adored and magnified!

King of kings! And Lord of lords! Amen! Copyright © 2014 Soundforth, a division of The Lorenz Corporation. CCLI #541575.
