About the village Ciocanesti Museum Ciocanesti village is documented in

1400, in an ancient document which records reception Suhard mountain, by Alexander the Good, from lady Ana, the donation reign.

Ciocanesti village by the unique beauty of its houses, is a true town-museum. Even if Ciocanestiul seems a simple mountain village, residents have made their community a true tourist attraction. Travellers who were here were impressed by the Village Museum, an old house that belongs Leontina elders.

Village Museum was designated the Romanian Cultural Village in 2014.

Fashion houses painted starting in 1950. Considered a

true outdoor museum, Ciocanesti, located on the road Iacobeni - Borsa can be easily integrated

into the list of objectives in

Romania, impressing the unique look, characterized by gorgeous painted

houses.

Moreover, the city contributes to the

appearance it unique in the

world by providing free of

the need for painting. No

church has not escaped the idea Ciocanesti hall, presenting the holy shrine, in turn, with the walls painted.

Festivals

Those arriving in the area unique, so the world must know that Ciocanesti are

organized during the year, the two festivals, where are invited dearly villagers. One of these is the trout festival,

eggs, which takes place in February.

remarkable ethnographic centre, situated on Bucovina
