B U L L D O G N AT I O N ,On behalf of The Citadel Brigadier Foundation Staff, The Citadel Athletic Department staff, and our 350+ cadet-athletes, thank you for your generous support of The Citadel Athletics as we continue our relentless pursuit of excellence in 2021.

The 2019-20 year was anything but traditional, and yet despite the many challenges, our TCBF supporters displayed resilience and fortitude synonymous with the fighting spirit of our great institution. Your commitment to the success and wellness of The South Carolina Corps of Cadets has inspired us and we could not be more grateful. What we have achieved together despite this past year’s circumstances is a testament to what we can achieve together moving forward.

The ‘Dogs continue to impress in the classroom, posting a 3.301 GPA this 2020 fall semester, and showed exciting promise on their respective fields of play in anticipation of a busy athletic spring schedule. Accomplishments like these start with YOU, our TCBF donors! As we embark on a new year, I encourage you, your families, and your friends to do two things: join TCBF and attend athletic competitions. Your presence and generosity are heard, felt, and - most importantly - appreciated. You make the difference!

The 2021 Donor Guidebook is designed to educate you on how you can invest in The Citadel Athletics. Please do not hesitate to contact our staff with any questions about how to become a part of the TCBF Family! We remain dedicated to ensuring a solid foundation for The Citadel Athletics Department for years to come and you are the most important part of achieving that goal. While our drive towards providing a best-in-class experience for The Citadel cadet-athletes is never finished, we sincerely thank you, Bulldog Nation, for standing with us as we write the next chapter in our history.

T H E M E M O R I A L F U N DThe Memorial Fund serves as The Citadel Brigadier Foundation’s Athletic Scholarship Endowment. Establishing an endowed scholarship provides a permanent stream of financial support that directly benefits cadet-athletes and creates a legacy that will support The Citadel Athletics now and in perpetuity. Endowed scholarships may be established with a minimum gift or pledge of at $25,000 through a single gift or through installments paid over a period of time mutually agreed upon by the donor and TCBF.

B E C O M E A T C B F M E M B E RThe TCBF Annual Membership Program allows supporters to directly impact the cadet-athlete experience. All TCBF Membership gifts count toward football seating and parking donation requirements as well as your annual giving benefits in 2021. Renewing your annual TCBF Membership is one of the best ways to help us continue our positive momentum in 2021. There is strength in numbers, and we need ALL of Bulldog Nation to make a difference! Become a member today for just $50!

B R I G A D I E R F U N DGifts to the Brigadier Fund support the greatest areas of need within The Citadel Athletics program at the discretion of the TCBF Board and the Director of Athletics. Those areas include nutrition and innovative training technology, academic assistance, facility improvements, and recruitment and retention of our coaches and athletes. These tax-deductible gifts are crucial to the sustainability of The Citadel Athletics.

L E G A C Y G I V I N GIncluding The Citadel Athletics in your financial or estate plan is a powerful way to create a lasting legacy that will help carry out the mission of The Citadel for many years to come. Legacy giving can offer significant tax benefits and eligibility to be inducted into The Citadel Legacy Society. You can name TCBF as the beneficiary of a will, trust, retirement account, or life insurance policy or create a charitable gift annuity and designate your gift to TCBF, the Memorial Fund, or The Brigadier Fund.
