    In the Harness Shop 681 pieces of new work were turned out and 259 pieces repaired. In the Paint Shop 147 engines, trucks, wagons, wheels and other pieces were painted, striped

    and varnished, and 197 touched up. In the Hose Shop 422 lengths of hose were repaired. In the Machine Shop 148 pieces of new work were manufactured and 320 pieces repaired. In the Wheelwright Shop 86 pieces of new work were turned out and 338 pieces repaired. There were distributed among the various companies 525 feet " Croton " hose, 72 feet "thaw''

    Notice is hereby given that, in pursuance of chapter 909 of the Laws of 1896, as amended by section 4, chapter 379, Law:; of 1897, and by virtue of the authority therein conferred upon the Police Board, the division of the several Assemhly Districts in the Borough of ,Manhattan, City of New York, into Election Districts, and the boundaries of said Election Districts, are hereby fixed by said Board as follows :
