CUNY undergraduate programs lead to two types of degrees: the associate orthe bachelor’s. Generally, an associate degree requires approximately 60 college credits and abachelor’s degree requires 120, with each requiring a major program. You will have morethan 1,250 undergraduate programs from which to choose.

COMPUTER SCIENCE AND INFORMATION SYSTEMS CUNY offers degreeprograms in many computer-related fields—from operations,programming and other more traditional computer science fields tonew media technology and multimedia programming and design.
ENGINEERING, ARCHITECTURE AND RELATED TECHNOLOGIES Wehave programs in all major fields of engineering, includingbioengineering, chemical, civil, electrical and mechanicalengineering, as well as in architecture and a variety oftechnology-related fields.

We have intercollegiate/intramural athletics at most CUNY colleges. At the varsity level,four-year and community college teams compete in 24 men’s and women’s sports.Four-year college varsity teams compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association(NCAA), while community college teams belong to the National Junior College AthleticAssociation (NJCAA). The CUNY School ofProfessional Studies (SPS) isfocused on meeting theeducational needs of workingadults and New York employers,offering both credit-bearingand non-credit courses onboth the undergraduate andgraduate levels.
SPS currently has state-of-the-art certificate programs in thefields of teacher education,law and health and humanservices.
