My shout-outs this
week go to: Marc Dohi
Nominated by Mrs Ev-
ans, Mr Whaley, Ms
Tebbutt along with the
Maths, English AND
History, department
for an impressive
amount of work com-
pleted. Well done,
keep up the hard work!
A special mention this week goes
to Olivia Smith, in Year 9, who has
managed to use her Design &
Technology skills to create a plant
pot out of recycled material.
Secondary schools and colleges are to provide
limited face-to-face tutorials for small groups of
students taking exams next year; current Year 10
and Year 12.
Only 25% of students will be able to attend class
at any one time due to the extra health and safety
measures which are needed to keep staff and stu-
dents safe.
This commences from 15th June.
All other year groups continue with home learn-
ing.
We continue to monitor the DfE guidance closely
to ensure we can accommodate any potential
changes.

This week was very exciting as, finally- we were
able to celebrate the opening of Cleeve Mead-
ow School on the Cleeve Park site.
Cleeve Meadow School has been designed to
provide specialist education for 120 pupils aged
11-19 with moderate learning difficulties. The
new school will be managed by The Kemnal
Academies Trust (TKAT) part of its family of 45
Academies across London and the South of Eng-
land.
Executive Head teacher Mrs Tyler-Maher official-
ly took possession of the keys to the new build-
ing from Project Manager David McPherson,
on behalf of the construction team at Galli-
ford Try.
The new free school has 12 teaching rooms, a
therapeutic hub, large open plan library and
IT space. Facilities also include a specialist
music department, performing arts centre
and a full-sized artificial football pitch that
will also be available for Cleeve Park School
pupils to use.
Existing and new pupils will be welcomed
from September 2020, once all the IT facili-
ties and furniture are installed.
“Our vision for Cleeve Meadow students being fully integrated into our school com-munity has come to fruition. The open-ing of this amazing building will inspire the next generation of Cleeve Meadow and Cleeve Park learn-ers to achieve their poten-tial and shine.”
Mrs Tyler-Maher
