Less about your 10-minute-mile and more about having the time of yourlife, The Color Run India™ 5k is a five-kilometer, un-timed race in whichthousands of participants are doused from head to toe in different colors ateach kilometer. The fun continues at the finish line with a gigantic “ColorFestival,” using more colored powder to create happiness and lastingmemories, not to mention millions of vivid color combinations. Instead, the thousands of participants are covered from head to toe in different color at each kilometer beforejoining the epic “The Color Run India™” at the finish line where they get to throw some serious shapes on thedance floor, as well as more color! Our colored powder creates lasting memories, the cheesiest of smiles andmillions of vivid color combinations. The untimed event has no winners or prizes, but runners are showeredwith colored powder, made of food-grade corn starch, at stations along the run.

Event Details

This is the central area of the event whereall our pre and post run entertainment kicksoff. The Start Line and Finish Line is closelylocated to The Center and therefore it willbe the area you usually enter before youstart the run and also where you will end upwhen you finish the run.

The River front is the place to be and will befilled with our sponsors, food vendors, ourmerchandise store and stage!! of course thestage is where our pre-event ZUMBA warmup kicks off and where our TCRI FinishFestival takes place.

This area is open to the general public sospectators are welcome to come along &wait for their beautiful friends and family tocomplete the run.

The fun continues after Color Runnerscomplete the race with an unforgettableFinish Festival. The StartThe Start Chute opens 10 minutesprior to the run.Waves of approx. 500 participants willstart the run every 3-6 minutes.Be sure to enter the Start Chute withthe people you wish to run with!The Start Chute will only remain openfor approx. 30-45 minutes from whenthe run starts. Therefore, make sureyou check out your city’s event page tosee what time you need to arrive togain entry to the course!

Color ThrowsEvery 15 minutes, we will countdown toa mass Color Throw. This creates theinfamous Color Cloud. Join us as wewelcome all Color Runners to the finishFestival. Everyone throwing colors intothe air at the same time creates aspectacular sight. This is where you’llwant to use the color pack you receivedas you crossed the finish line.

Hopefully you were able to resistthrowing it for this long. Trust us, it’sworth the wait. If you have used, lost orforgotten your personal Color Pack(handed to you at the finish line), orwould like to purchase additional color,we will have a limited quantity for sale atthe Festival! ColorsThe colors used are plant-based, non-toxic, and environmentally-friendly. Madefrom food-grade cornstarch, you couldeven eat them (not that we suggestthat!). All these are toxic and can givepeople skin allergies, irritated nose orlungs and eye irritation. It´s not onlyunhealthy for people and animals, also forthe environment it’s pollution.

RationaleAt The Color Run India 5K, every year more than 300 children with cardiac illness are referred to other Government aided and private hospitals.

Over 3000 non affording children with cardiac illnessare in waiting list of some of largest governmenthospitals of Ahmedabad. Not all parents can affordexpensive treatment offered by private hospitals.
