Church in FrysztakChurch in Frysztak

Our churchOur church

Beautiful hills, extensive valleys, spectacular forests, winding brooks... This is our village with one of the oldest buildings in this region - the church.

Our church was built in 1927 by priest Wojciech Blajer. In our church there is the beautiful antique altar and stone-sculptures presenting Saint Mark and Saint John. On the ceiling there

are beautiful paintings showing angels. People built this temple on a very big hill. During German occupation in the course of Worl War II our chuch was damaged. The roof was hit by

around 80 missiles. After the war people restored the temple. In our parish there are 5000 worshippers. This church for us - Catholics - is very important.

We can pray there every day. On weekdays there are two masses. Every Sunday there are five big masses.
