Mayas

They were located in the Yucatan Peninsula.

Not just one major city-was much harder for conquistadors to overthrow.

They were polytheistic.

There religion did not contain as much gold.

They also had slaves to do there bidding who sometimes gained freedom.

Cortez• The Aztecs thought he was there god

• They killed a lot of the natives but the main threat was germs they brought with them.
