The conquistadors are the bringers of conquest. They are made up of soldiers, adventurers and explorers. The main conquistadores are serving our beautiful counrty are:

King Ferdinand and Queen Isabel have given permission and funding for the conquistadors to set off for the new land.

They hope to discover many new riches for our monarchs.

•Wondrous new foods such as guavas, pineapple and potatoes are being introduced to our markets and new animals are becoming brilliant new fashion accessories.

•Information has come saying that gold, deliscious foods, new flora and exotic fauna have been discovered.

New trade routes to Asia are also high on the demand list.

The conquistadors have now been journeying for some time, and are well on their way to landing in South America. Although the Conquistadors are making good progress, they are facing many troubles.

They are journeying through the

freezing cold, and stormy seas.

They do not have any good maps

or geographical instruments.

Nothing in the past has them

prepared for what they might find.

Conquistadors?

The Conquistadors are facing many hardships at sea on their way to discovering the New Land. But there are ways around these problems.

They are bringing many blankets and warm clothes to escape the cold.

The need to prepare themselves for anything they might find.

They are using the stars to navigate their way across the Seven Seas to the New Land.

But will this be enough?

Among these resources are new foods, plants and animals such as:

•Potatoes

•Guavas

•Tomatoes

•Parrots

•Cocoa Beans

•And many, many more…

The conquistadors have reached the new land and have discovered many new resources for our great country and monarchs.

The conquistadors have found a newer and stronger work force in the new land. Many of the natives have been introduced to our world as labourers and staff for household work. As well as being set to work

clearing and preparing the land for farming

New evidence shows that some information is being kept from King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella. This could be a big problem. This is the held information:Many Conquistadors are said to be hiding gold for themselves.Even though a law has been passed that either natives convert or are killed, some Conquistadors may have been killing without reason.

King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella do not know about all the diseases that are killing the natives.

Many natives are being very badly mistreated, and lots of effort has been put in to keep it from the King and Queen.

Spanish colonization in the new world led to the conquistadors finding immense wealth in gold and silver.The Spanish were able to expand their empire because of the three main conquistadors Hernan Cortes, Pedro de Alvarado, and Francisco Pizarro.The Spread of European diseases e.g. small pox and measles caused more fatalities than the wars themselves which would have meant that the conquistadors could have taken over the countries a lot quicker because of the decimation of the populations.The conquistadors had several advantages over the native peoples like firearms and steel which would have made it easier to control the natives.  Another good point about La Conquista was the conquistadors manipulating ability. Abusing the political situation between indigenous peoples, either by supporting one side of a civil war, or the other side.

The Conquistadors bringing European diseases with them like small pox, measles and chicken pox which consequently led to the decimation of

many populations.

There was not a very trusting relationship between the natives and the conquistadors

with both of them hoping to learn each othersweaknesses in hopes of defeating one another.

Even though many people died of an illness many innocent people were murdered as well with the conquistadors committing a

massacre.

There is an outcry throughout the country for change to occur in the New Land. The King and Queen are speaking with advisors about what to do.

Don Ignacio Fernando de Paz announced that he will be advising our beloved king and queen to send their most trusted advisors to take over from the “conquistadors” who are creating so much pain. These advisors are also being advised to bring physicians and doctors with them to treat the terrible diseases that we are giving to the natives of the new land. It is recommended that the natives be treated as partners, not slaves and that violence be defeated.

Stop the pain and end the slavery.
