The CPF-editor
• Why use the CPF-editor?– Possible to validate forms before distribution to EC– Highlights mandatory information– Ease of use for coordinator and commission
• Where can find it?– http://www.cordis.lu/fp6/contract-prep.htm– ftp://ftpnl.cordis.lu/pub/fp6/documents/cpf_editor_v15.zip
• CPF-data file– Sent from EC-Project Officer to coordinator – Pre-edited with data from your proposal, but don’t expect it to
be correct nor complete!– Distributed by coordinator to all partners
CPF-editor pitfalls
• No autosave or save on exit dialogue– If you click File->Exit or terminate the editor all work is lost
• Keep track of your ’participant number’– It is fairly easy to start editing someone elses form
• Check your locale setting in windows– Preferrably use English UK on ALL computers used for editing
the CPFs– Done under ’Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Regional
Options -> General -> Your locale'
