Greeting in Hungary

Hungarian men shake hands, when they meet each other, women kiss on each other on the cheek, but when they meet for the first time they shake hands. In the family, we kiss on each other on the cheeks.

The children always say Good morning or Good afternoon at that time of the day to teachers.

This country is in the continental zone. There are 4 season: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. Summer is hot, Winter is cold. The average temperature is between 9 and 12C

FoodsThere are 5 meals a day.People in Hungary often have toast with butter for breakfast or cereals with milk.They drink tea and sometimes they have British breakfast.Lunch is a primal meal, therefore people have lunch break. The most of the people buy foods in the supermarket. And they buy their clothes in departmentstores,”stop-shop”or in the plaza. You

can buy hom-made foods in the market.

The Hungarians doesn’t like it when the tourists confuse Budapest with Bukarest so if somebody confuse then it is

improper. There aren’t many rules in Hungary. And for example if you chew a gum in the lesson it is improper too.

Dos or Donts

The olympic games take pleace every 4 years and the Hungarian take part in most of olympic games. We good at swimming, waterpolo, kajak -kenuing, handball, hammer throw.

Sport

And we won 3 gold, 5 silver, 2 bronz medals the last olimpic games.

The Hungarian are not good at football now, but long time ago the „The gold team ” won the olympic games in 1952. and they were the second in the World ChampionShip in 1953.

The Hungarian waterpolo team won the last 3 olympic games,

And the swimmers are very good too.
