ATTEND THIS FASCINATING TRAINING SESSION AND LET DR SHORT TAKE YOU ON A JOURNEY from the history of Milton H Erickson’s work, through to how to do Ericksonian therapy in your daily practice and how to achieve wonderfully surprising results with your clients.

It is often said of Erickson that he was a creative genius. Every practitioner can employ the attitudes and habits of thought that make the Ericksonian approach so effective. What makes this approach to hypnosis and therapy so rewarding is not only the surprising accomplishments produced by the client but also the rich rewards of creativity and new learning that the therapist gets to enjoy on a session by session basis.

You will learn how to use the same reasoning and clinical strategies that Milton Erickson used to successfully assist clients with a multitude of problems such as:

› Trauma, › Mental Health Issues, › Relationship issues, › Substance misuse and other such issues.

The course will take you through the underpinning foundations of Ericksonian Hypnotherapy. By the time you complete this course, you will know how to do hypnotherapy without the need for structured hypnotic inductions, without the need for hypnotherapy scripts, and without the need to struggle against “resistance” to therapy.

› Tailor what you do to each client as an individual. › Use advanced communication skills in a wide range of life

situations. You will be prepared to utilise almost any response clients give you to help them achieve their goals in therapy.

› Learn about the importance of observation skills. › Recognise subconscious needs & learn how to work with

those needs. › Think more like Erickson and thus see greater opportunities

for creativity and the reduction of human suffering, regardless of the condition or unfortunate circumstances.

If you have trained in hypnotherapy, counselling, coaching, NLP or other similar fi elds, Ericksonian hypnotherapy should make great additional skills for your tool-box to use with clients you have been trained to work with.

Dr. Dan Short is considered one of the leading experts in the next generation of Ericksonian hypnotherapists. He teaches internationally and has partnered with Scott Miller to conduct clinical trials of Ericksonian Therapy. Dr Short has recently authored “Core Competencies of Ericksonian Therapy” which is a treatment manual that makes this research possible, and also the highly acclaimed text “Hope & Resiliency: Understanding the Psychotherapeutic Strategies of Milton H. Erickson”.

Members of the Erickson family and Erickson’s most famous pupils identify him as as one of the most important new leaders within this expanding global movement.
