Mrs. Autumn Taylor is the fifth grade girls’ teacher at The Atonement Academy. This year she teaches the girls every subject except Latin, mu-sic, and PE.
Mrs. Taylor is a cradle Catholic who attended a Catholic grade school and high school. After high school she attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock on a partial academic scholarship and a partial swimming scholarship. She has a BSE in elementary education, and all of her 30 plus years as an educator have been in Catholic Schools in San Antonio, Dal-las, Tulsa, and Knoxville. Twenty-four of those years were spent edu-cating fifth graders. (Ten and eleven year olds are her favorite age group!) Besides fifth grade, Mrs. Taylor also has taught second, third, fourth, and sixth grades.
She and her husband, Chris, just celebrated 38 years of being married. They have three grown children, two sons and a daughter.

We are so very proud of our Lady Crusaders! The varsity team re-ally stepped up their game and responded so well to Coach Blan-ca’s inspiration and dedication to these young ladies. AS Mr. Vidal reported, our girls won the championship Saturday morning! In addition, our league announced their district selections for 2A divi-sion, and our scholar-athletes received quite a bit of recognition. Congratulations to these young ladies!
