LDPOA Outlots THANK YOU to the numerous volunteers that silently maintain the various POA Outlots. Our community always looks so nice and that is due to fact that we have so many people that truly care! The outlots include the Lake Dale Trail, beach areas, as well as other areas in our community. Please know that we are grateful for all you do and it does

not go unnoticed!

Here’s my story….. As a new full-time resident in the fall of 2014, I knew my immediate neighbors but wanted to meet more community members, hence I joined the Lake Dalecarlia Women’s Club. It wasn’t to be part of a clique but meet new people and in turn help out the local community with volunteer services I choose to do. I’m writing this because I be-lieve others in the community feel there are specific “cliques” estab-lished whether it’s the Women’s Club, the POA Committee or the vol-unteer Fire Department. By the way, clique means having something in common. I’m sure there are others in our little community, men and women that would like more social activities to get to know one anoth-er. Having a monthly regatta is a wonderful way to meet people during the summer but that’s only a few times during the summer. Would anyone like to join me in coming up with ideas? I’m not proposing that if you contact me that either you or any of us would be stuck with the task to execute. It would be nice to know if there is an interest. Sue
